- She's the first Japanese to have a wax figured made in Hong Kong at Madame Tussauds in Hong Kong.
- She's the 5th woman to have 10 #1 albums in Japan.
- All of her albums (9 in total) have reached over a million copies sold.
- Five of her singles have reached over a million copies sold.
- In March 2000, she became the first artist to have 4 albums in the top 10 at the same time.
- In 2001, she sold $200 US million worth of records.
