CAROLS?

I really don't like this song.
The PV was boring, although the merry-go-round was rather enchanting,
it makes me kinda pensive/sentimental.

Other than that, I didnt think this was too good of an ayu song.
To me, it's about as good as an "Over" or "Close to you."

It was okay - I just didn't think it was worthy of all the attention we gave it.

(although the hammond whisper mix was totally new and original, it was kind of a bore too.)

I was wondering if anyone agreed.

Well I think it's better than Moments, GAME, and INSPIRE combined...

People say they hate her vocals in this song, which I really don't get. It sounds almost exactly like her voice in 2001 to me...

i love the song, its a nice change from the devistating aftermath of INSPIRE. i do think it was overrated though. i think Moments is a lot better and i can listen to moments nonstop on end but carols gets old. the song itself was not boring, only the hammond mix and the pv. in. my. opinion.

I think Moments is a lot more overrated, all the 'la la's' just suck...

I thought the remix was a bore, but the song itself is definately better than Over or Close to you.

I did love CAROLS at first, but by the time the original release came out I was fairly bored of it, which is the exact thing that happened to me with Voyage.

Moments was better than INSPIRE, GAME and CAROLS combined for me.

I liked CAROLS. Previewing it through the CM, I sort of anticipated it to have this subtle yet bursting rise with each chorus effect, but when I heard the entire song it wasn't as moving as I anticipated it to be. I suppose it's allright, but after listening to it for awhile, I've grown to really like this song.

Hey, I love Close to You. Yeah, I can see what you mean though, Carols is like "Oh that's pretty." and that's about it.

I think CAROLS is an excellent song, just like Over and Close to you are excellent as well.

At the first times I listened to CAROLS I thought it was really good, a week after I was finding the song terribly annoying specially because of the bridge (go figure why). A week later though I was loving the song back again. I sang to it several times while I was driving (not as much as I did with Moments though, almost anytime I would get in the car I would sing that song).

Moments is definitely the best song going into My Story that I've heard of so far. But I definitely like Carols too, it gets kind of old after a while but it's kind of sweet I think. Plus I love the PV! It's really simple but for some reason I think it's really nice. And I liked Over too!

I thought Ayumi's vocal in CAROLS was kinda digitalized. ;; But the song itself otherwise was very beautiful. I must the PV disapointed me though. I hoped for better.. Especially my imagination brought me to such a high point.

I loved 'CAROLS'! Yeah like everyone said wasn't as good as 'Moments' thought but it was a really solid song. Personally I like 'INSPIRE' and 'GAME' more, I'm a HUGE fan of that single besides the fact it's a DOUBLE A-SIDE! ARGH WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY, just for a pretty cover and loud instrumentals. Ugh could have gone to my copy of 'MY STORY'. Anyways I really liked 'CAROLS' was extremely beautiful, I didn't really like it at first but after a LONG... break from it, it suddenly became extremely beautiful and the chorus is very memorable and I also LOVE the bridge.

Lastly... 'Over' IS AMAZING. I LOVE THAT SONG, it's a masterpiece. It has the emotional element that some of her recent songs lack like 'INSPIRE' even though I heart that song to DEATH.

CAROLS is actually one of my favorite Ayu PVs, and I'm buying the CD+DVD for only that PV. It tied with Moments for me. I love the part towards the end of the song, the part in the PV where it zooms in on her on the merry-go-round...

CAROLS & Moments definetely beat INSPIRE & GAME...

I like CAROLS a lot, I think it's really pretty. But I must admit that the PV is pretty disappointing... even when I wasn't expecting much anyway. But I still like it, I definitely don't HATE the PV... it's just, ehhh. But I really like the song, it's one of her better recent ballads.

I like CAROLS, it's a nice song. I think it's a simple and clean track, with the same idea in the PV. The PV was honest, just focusing on Ayu and the song, I love the PV. But I agree that Moments was Ayu's best song this year, it contains some of her best lyrics.

well the verse on carols is great... but i think the chorus makes some point loss on it
