In 1997, she probably would have sold more than a million. Maybe two. But that's the way the stock market goes... Right now, one million = two million back then.

One million = two million yes, but that is in money/dollars, not in cd sales, cause you can't really put cd sales under the stock market. Money value rises, so if she sold i.e 150 copies today, then that would still equal to selling 150 copies in 1997

Mmmm...I suppose Ayu is doing well, considering all the odds against her. You can download not just Ayu songs anywhere, but full blown albums Not only that, nobody sells millions of records anymore...ANYWHERE. The times have changed, the fans have changed, and the whole music industry flipped.

One artist doesn't reign all like it used to be

BUT, we should all congradulate ourselves, or whoever actually brought Ayu cds and THANK Ayu for the albums so we can spend our dough
