[Thoughts] Beautiful Fighters PV

It reminds me something (I feel kinda like ANGEL'S SONG) when I see ayu works as cashiers in this PV.I laughed when I saw this PV.But I like this PV more than BLUE BIRD,but both are not my favourite ayu PVs.I just choose one better.

this PV is funny and nice!

To me, i think what she is saying is that women make silly mistakes but they are nonetheless...Stars?...dunno how to say..

I just find it very entertaining...NICE WORK

As for the song...its a new style funky a bit retro feel...its really cool of her to change styles once in a while...She did say she is experimenting now....LOVE THE SONG TOO

I thought the song was horrible and the PV even worse. Well, I was right about Ayu dancing with female backup dancers. That wasn't so hard to predict. The PV was very American >.> The song is probably the cheesiest yet. It sounded like some bad anime theme song, and I bet no one would care about the song if it was sung by someone else other than Ayumi. 2006 is a really bad year for her so far.

If she stopped making music right now, I would be happy.

Yeah, she needs to take a break. I find the song is quite annoying at the beginning..
Does she sing "It's time for girls" all the time in the song?

BTW, this is not what I expect .. PLEASE AYU....

The song and the PV are alright. The synthesized part is really catchy and cool but it's repeated too often and just kills the song. The composition isn't great and the arrangement isn't great, and if it is Kazuhito Kikuchi, I don't think it's the best he can do. She tried bringing back her old composers for this single and in my opinion it didn't work very well. She's trying to go back in time, give me a summer with INSPIRE and GAME, some attitude. It's too sugary. Grow up, Ayu.

That's unfair to say about this one song. Out of all the songs released this year I think this would be the most unique and most thought out. Every single song she released this year are anime-worthy anyway, not just this one, BLUE BIRD, being #1. Startin' is my favorite so far this year. I certainly hope that changes before the end of the year.

I agree very much on that. It's catchy but used too much.

Yeah it's the highlight of the song for me. When it first started playing, I thought the song was going to be awesome. The verses were nice too. I just have an issue with the chorus and how it overlaps - I think they should have just shortened it. The melody isn't great there either. I started to get annoyed when the synthesized voice kept playing: in the beginning, after the first verse, after the first chorus, in the bridge, AND at the end of the song. The guitar 'solo' part could have been better and not so simplistic too.

so if it doesnt have "attitude" its not good? does everything have to be so serious cant she just have a single or song were its just happy. I think its important to have a variety so its something for everyone.

but whatever floats your boat go with it

Bold & Delicious and Humming 7/4 were happy. I love happy songs. I'm not an emo who craves serious and depressing songs. These songs had attitude. The type of happiness BLUE BIRD, Beautiful Fighters, Beautiful Day, etc. give off is very cliche and superficial to me. Why does sounding young = sounding happy?

I agree

her PVs are so...no, not that boring, but...typical?!
they are like smth repetitive for me, I mean, they are usual

Although I don't really like "cutesy" PVs, this one was funny and nice!

It has such a nice message!! Its showing how when you work hard you get rewarded And all the people at the end were cheering for them because they worked so hard despite the hard times

nice one...this could be the message...so many meanings...

@Larisa-chan...Ayu need not stop making music...but u may stop being her fan,..srry k...a bit harsh

But we cant expect AYu to follow what we want...we all expected it tto be rock but now its disco-funk...so wad?...Souldn't we give her room to explore?...can't expect her to stick to rock, ballad and upbeat pop everytime right?....Then wouldnt it be so predictable...i think that way, people lose interest faster

and if u implant in you that "Ayu...2006...goner"...u will develop this feeling more and more...and then Ayu is just outta your mind

...I like the song. I really do. I think it's sweet and catchy.

But the pv sucks. .__. I wanted to skip through it, but didn't. All I really saw was her sitting on a car and random people messing up stuff. It's sort of entertaining, but that's it. I like BLUE BIRD more.

I'm not really a fan of the video. Even though Ayumi looked really adorable as the register girl, I was just not feeling the entire production. I'm even going to admit that I liked the BLUE BIRD PV more than this one. Both themes (fun/beach and women working hard to be respected) are themes that Ayumi has already done in a short time, so it wasn't really anything new.

I didn't like the PV. I like the song because it's catchy, and it makes me laugh when I hear her distorted english upon saying "It's beautiful fighters" (atleast that's what I think she's saying).

The PV...well, it has a good message...sort of. At first, I thought it was just depicting how everyone has a first job and there are always going to be mess ups and all that. But when I saw the girls in their flashy cars, that was a real turn off. It reminded me too much of paris hilton and the socialite stuff. Annoying as hell. As for Ayumi and her little cash register deal, she needs to be cute in her own way. Doing that stupid crap where she's like, "omg a bag of cookies, amazing! Oh my god, Cheetoes! Look!" is annoying as ****

That PV, in my opinion, was a bag of dumb. BLUE BIRD was 10 times better than that, even if it was bland. Oh well, I like both the songs, just not so much the PVs. It is the song that counts anyways.
