Winter Whispers

For all the words unspoken
I keep to myself because I’m selfish
I don’t speak to you because I think you’re selfish
Can’t there be an easier way?

My mind trespasses a vacant heart
But it soon learns of the orphan of secrets
Held inside
Why can’t I just foster my emotions
Like you had
Like all of you had?

In the stormy season
We often admire the rain
Why is it so admirable?
What’s so blissful about crying skies?
Nothing’s blissful about running mascaras
And gasping orbs of emotion
Smeared liner of depression
Drenched cheeks with forged smiles

The colder it is
The warmer we truly feel, right?
So can’t you just accept the secrets
And put away the selfish mindset
Because I can’t do the same thing.

-Yume (ME!! i wrote it!! lalala...)

As for "ourselves", I think "jibuntachi" would make more sense...

ANGEL'S SONG = Tenshi no Uta

The thing is that all of her songs can't be translated (i.e. fairyland, alterna, Bold & Delicious, STEP you, Heartplace, Greatful Days), which is what makes the song unique. I think the fact that all her songs are in English make it seem like there are double meanings.

HONEY could be "hachimitsu". I remember that hachi means bee. lol

I learned "Sore kara" as "And then".

And I'm not too sure about the "tooi", cause by itself it does mean "far", but is there a way to make it "Far away", as like "tooi tokoro" or such? >.<

Endless sorrow... I was thinking something with "Owaranai", so like "Owaranai kanashimi"?

And as for nouns, by itself it could be plural. Plus, I don't think you'd use "watashi", so it could be "Namae wa ONNA". :/

I wondered about the "away", too. Well "tokoro" could be an option. (Like in "ever free".)

Well, in some cases there's no right or wrong, I think. "Owaranai kanashimi" would be right, as would be "Eien no kanashimi".
I tried to stay true to the English that's why I added "watashi no" and "-TACHI". I feel both of them to be rather necessary, because "namae wa ONNA" could mean "my name's WOMAN", "our name's WOMEN" etc.

"to" is "and". I'm not sure how to say "or" the best in Japanese, but ayu likes to use "soretomo", so maybe "KIBOU soretomo ITAMI"?
