here...i did a quick rough translation. this is what i got out of the CM. sorry, i was on the phone with my mom or i would have responded earlier. i guess i can add this to the first post. xD


woman: 雨止まないわね。
(the rain isn't gonna stop, huh)

dog: 止まない雨はない。
(there is no such thing as rain that doesn't stop.)

ayu: こんばんは。一曲いいですか？
(good evening. is one song ok?)

dog: 流しか？
(are you cruising?)

-woman waves them away-

dog: まぁ、いいじゃないか？
(nah, it's ok right?)

man: ありがとうございます。
(thank you so much.)

dog: やってくれ！
(do it!)

man: それじゃ、新曲行きます。
(well then, here we go with our new song.)

singing ayu: ♪ うわさ話　全て、ただ。　別れ話　全て、ただ。　ただ　ただ　ただ　とも　　涙雨 ♪
(gossip talk...all free. breakup talk...all free. certainly free free free. light rain.)

dog: あんた、いい声だ。
(you, nice voice.)

ayu: サンキュー。
(thank you.)

singing man: ♪ なみだーあめー♪
(liiiiiight raaaain.)

dog: おまえじゃない！！
(NOT YOU!!)

announcer guy: ただともみんな通話無料。
(now even talking to everyone is free-of-charge.)

[[even tho the word 涙雨 (namida-ame) uses the character for "tears"...it really means 'light rain' or rain that falls at a time when you are sad]]
