Trends... Most of the time, when several artists use the same theme, they are not coping each other, it's just something that it`s "in" at the moment...

I kinda like the title. I just don't like how it seems like a borrowed idea because of Kumi, Britney, and Pink has seemed to use it already. But it's okay, it's Ayumi so I forgive her <3 I just hope there aren't many clowns.

Well, the title is not Circus (and kuu had no album named Circus), it has Rock'n'Roll in it which changes the whole picture and if it's borrowed from anything then it's from The Rolling Stones Rock and Roll Circus. =P

^Yeah WONDERLAND would soooo fit into this album XDD

The Tour opening will be (indeed) WONDERLAND, and then the first songs she sings Alterna! yes please!! I love this theme!!

However, as an Album title it's completely unacceptable so I hope that'll be something different.

I'm really excited now Sounds like this tour might be totally amazing I wonder if she'll use a circus inspired stage... Maybe thats what she meant but a new design in her blog

Also, Circus is nothing to do with Britney Spears. As mentioned on the previous pages Circus has been the title for loads of things. Obviously if she called it the 'Oops I did it again' tour then I'd have some questions

I can imagine why you like the title, but to me it's not a title for an album. Since an album simply can't be a circus xD Like.. it's just strange! For a tour it's an amazing name and I love it, but it's just a strange album title in my ears.

(Especially since it'll have Sunrise, Sunset, You were... and BALLAD on it. And even Microphone doesn't sound that Circus-ish to me, but I can't really judge yet)

CIRCUS, is that the album name, it's sounded quite cool. But it isn't sounded unique.

Whoooa O__O This is really different for Ayu, but exciting. I can't wait for this tour, I just hope it doesn't include her butchering a bunch of her rock songs a la About you/Because of You @ CDL 09-10. If this tour is really gonna have a rock focus, I think she's gonna need to really rest up her voice before AND after the tour >.<

Also, is it just me or does alterna come to mind? XD I mean, that entire PV was pretty much a Rock'n'Roll circus, I wonder if it'll be performed.

Yet, as it's based on the Rolling Stones, it can be completely different, so why not.
As long as it's not a simple circus theme it'll be fine I guess.
I'm really looking forward to hearing the album now. Ayu's never done properly rock but maybe it will be the case this time? Even if it's rock-inspired as always I don't mind as long as it's a bit different.
The title in itself souns good. I like long titles, they seem less simple than just one word, and more interesting to me.

Actually Christina started the whole Circus theme with "Back To Basics" (no "circus" in the title but just look at the PV's from that album, especially Hurt).
I personally thought even Britney was ripping it off, and then of course Pink added to it.

But Ayu makes it truly unique by adding Rock and Roll to it! I'm soo excited!

(Don't get me wrong, I also loved the 3 albums of aforementioned Western singers, but even if they didn't rip Xtina off.. they did have very similar themes )

Oh ok, I didn't know for the other artists. But it also shows that britney's circus theme is the most popular (at least in France). I mean, I never saw any "circus jacket" on girls in the past. Since britney's one, there are plenty of them on sale. So she may have made it 'in'?
The circus theme in itself is clearly not original, but given the fact that one of the most popular icon made an entire album/tour out of it one year or so ago, it's not very clever as I said. Would have been the same problem if she came up with a disco-themed album just after madonna's one.
But as I said, I don't wan't to have a real opinion as it's "rocn 'n' roll (circus)". She can make something reaaally different.

wow I'm really surprised at the title. Not too fond of the "circus" part cos it makes me think she's gonna don ugly costumes and act all stupid ala STEP you @ Future Classics.
