I think that MY STORY sounded unoriginal to people who aren't fans of rock. Genres you are usually not into tend to sound pretty bland and sometimes similar.

I think that the unoriginality has been far "worse" this year, than back in 2004. A lot of pop. Then, I'm biased towards MY STORY because it's my favourite album, because it is easily the album I like the sound of the most.

If you don't like the tracks on the new album, remember to not blame them for being rushed, because we can't possibly know if they were. There's still plenty of time for Ayu to finish her songs and relax .

There will be 14 songs, not 7, and 14 videos including 7 PVs and 7 makings .

Let's write an email to Ayu and tell her that she better record the next album and have it finished a year before it's to be released.

It's definately not going to be rushed that way .

An album shouldn't still be in recording less than a month of release. no wonder her quality has down graded.

Maybe it shouldn't, I don't have much first hand experiance from the recording industry.

It's very easy to blame her 'degrading' on anything, as long as you actually think she has been degrading from the start.

Maybe I'm still biased towards her, and unable to hear the degrading, or maybe her new music simply is what appeals to me more.

Didn't Beyoncé record do her entire album within like a 2 week timeframe? If she can do that, then of course Ayu can do it in the, what, 5 weeks she has... and Ayu already has a large portion of the album already done.

Even though she might be still recording but that doesn't mean its gonna be bad and that she's degrading. I'm not gonna say the songs are good or bad till I hear the whole album...and then give my opinions.

I don't know if any of her albums before was 'rushed' but that doesn't mean none of them weren't...just because we know this album is. You never know...maybe all her albums was like this...lol...just that we didn't get any news of it being rushed.

I dunno if anyones said this yet, but you also gotta consider:

most artists record X number of songs for a certain album. but X - Y are the ones that are actually put on the album, so the album has a total of Z tracks.
Sorry for the algebra, but I had to explain it somehow. let me do it another way.

Let's take...MY STORY.
if we take out the songs that have no vocals, it has 15 songs. but since she composed WONDERLAND, we'll just say 16.
she writes/composes/records 20 songs, and picks out the best 16.
most artists have many unreleased tracks, sometimes even songs they don't even record.

she could easily do one of these:
Ayu: uh....wait wait, brb *drives home, goes thru drawer**drives back* OK! I haven't recorded these 7 songs yet, I wrote them a longgggg tiiiiime agoooooo. I like 'em, lets do them!

rushing not necessarily translate to bad work =] the melody must be there already, so what is left is just the lyrics, vocals and arrangement Something tell me that ayu has more or less finish filming the pvs and confirm on the album art So about 70% of the album is complete
