I do like CREA, so... don't take what I said wrong. But even with less of her involvement in the albums since RAINBOW, the albums have still turned out GREAT, so...

I just flipped through the I am... and RAINBOW booklets and was shocked to realize how much of each she produced (both were wonderful albums) and how sharply the number dropped on subsequent albums. I knew she was heavily involved in I am..., but I didn't realize she did so much of RAINBOW too (she probably did + and Flower garden too).

I noticed she tends to stick to a style, too, in a sense. I mean, each song has its own thing going on, different styles, but no matter what she composes, she always keeps some elements of rock somewhere in there (HANABI aside). Makes me wonder about 1LOVE. It's nice to know that while she has her themes (rock), her songs can be so diverse anyway.

Most of her non ballad songs and midpaced songs all have rock present. :3 Even Bold & Delicious and Will had rock elements. XD

Well, if we had albumfuls of CREA like 3 times in a row, wouldn't you want something different?

I like CREA and all, but I don't want her to be forced to compose.. then it'd just be weird. She will compose when she wants to <3

That's the same way as I see it. The reason I think it gives a little extra when CREA is the creator is that then I know that whavered I'm listening to is more or less exactly what Ayu wants to give me. To me there isn't any sound difference, CREA for sure isn't the best composer, but I still know that this is how Ayu really want to present her music to me.

Okay:

My theory about (miss)understood's 'situation' with photographers and stuff was that Leslie Kee was busy doing something else during the time of shooting for (miss)understood, so he sent one of his assistants to help with the cover [even though he kind of failed.. I think it was Shin Watanabe].

And for the booklet, I think Ayu asked her friend Mikajohn [Mika Noguchi] to do it since it was possible that Ayu wanted a 'vintage' and 'homey' feel to the booklet. Again, this failed because of the terrible blurriness that was each page of the booklet. Hopefully Leslie Kee comes back to do the album cover AND the inner photos as well as possibly a photobook based on this shoot <3

What weirds me out so much is the low-quality-ness of (miss)understood, not even someone who has never held a camera in their hands can achieve that low quality, I get the feeling a lot of it may have been added to it digitally, later on.

I don't see why and I don't understand anything about the creation of the art for this album, I don't know what to think.

^ a valid point made. i often wonder whats the purpose of making the cover look blurry. might as well mosaic it to create the effect.......???!

I don't like the booklet of m(U) neither~!
The blurry feeling about it just annoys me whenever i read it.
Hopefully, ayu can make this album look a luxurious one

"I've decided to change the album title to __________ because i have a new concept for the full album" hence a new album title.

^^ Deceptions... I like it! Secret is a nice title but i cant help but think of Koda Kumi whenever i hear it. Deceptions is much better.

Though i am excited about this album. I dont like the batch of singles for it as much as i did for (m)u. So hopefully the non-single tracks really make up for it. I am only a fairly recent Ayu fan so have only been around for one album release, (m)u.

I seriously hope 1love will not turn into something like beautiful fighters....and hopefully theres like a album version of beautiful fighters like in the cm...but I highly doubt it

They're rushing more tracks, it's good that there are more tracks, but I think this is gonna be another "MY STORY" album with lotsa un-original tracks... I'm hoping they are good >__>;;

I think that was due to the overage of Tetsuya Yukimi in MY STORY's case... like 3/4ths the album was Tetsuya x.x

You never know. Since the deadline is not that far away, I'm afraid the songs will be rushed. Like Ayu dropping a dictionary on the piano and going "OH, MELODY~~" and making a song. Or worse, pulling off a SMILY.
