Thoughts on 'glitter' PV

ok, so her body guard sees the light falling and rushes over to protect her...except thats IMPOSSIBLE. you can't react that quickly. ugh.

my only hope is that those pv within a pv scenes will be released as a full pv themselves. those weren't so bad looking. this one has grown on me a little bit, but i still say its one of my least favorite ayumi pvs.

It's okay. Personally I think the feel of the PV is too dark for the lightness that is "glitter". The "I'm famous! Woe is me!" scenes are overdone. I think it would've been perfect for "glitter" if they had just done more scenes like the happy dinner scene...in my mind, the short film went like this: "glitter" is when Ayu meets Shawn Yue and they fall in love and have lots of fun, because the song is very hopeful and a happy--not Ayu on vacation in Hawaii happy, but happy in a more optimistic sense--PV would've fit it better.

I envisioned that "fated" would be the PV in which the price of her fame would kick in and we would witness her and Shawn being separated and such. I thought that "fated" would zero in more on why they can't be together because she's/they're famous...I didn't think they'd take so much time in "glitter" outlining that, because I see that as time in which they could've developed the relationship between Ayu and Shawn and thus make their breakup more poignant.

But I'm rambling XD; Overall, it's not a bad PV--a little out of place for "glitter", but maybe once the entire short film is unveiled everything will tie together more smoothly.

And see, if the PV would've gone in this sort of direction, it'd be better. Much better. People aren't complaining because it's not a "beach PV". They're complaining because the way in which the scenes were put together was poor. Yes, we knew the storyline ahead of time, but with good directing and some tweaking of the storyline's placement, it would've been very fitting for the song.

"glitter" did not have to be set to a beach PV to have a fitting video.

1) I thought it was sort of different. Of course I've only watched it once, but for one time I thought it was good.

2) Does no one understand the ending or something? Remember, I'm not reading everyone's posts now so maybe some explained it already. Because it's actually really obvious.

3) Oh, my God... More "MADANO" crap. Seriously, I don't get it. What the hell.

4) The storyline itself I thought was wonderful. Sure there have been other PVs sort of similar to the whole paparazzi-following-Ayu-around thing, but I don't remember any with a love she can't really have! I love it!!

I really love this PV the only thing I did not like was when the light fell and hit the glass tunel thing and the glass fell it looked just soo fake!!!! but other than that I really loved it!!!! I caint wait till the film and fated!!!!!!!!!!! woot woot woot!!!!!

To me, Ayu acts like that in the end because she's trying to put up a "front" to the other bodyguards. Sort of like "why are you holding my hand!" That's what I thought the first time I watched it anyway.

Hated it.

It doesn't fit with the song, everything is just so random and oh-so-corny. And their chemistry is terrible.

Hm... I imagine that the "fated (Original Ver.)" have scenes of Ayu with her marry dress. And "glitter (Original Ver.)" haves scenes of covers-making.

Well I saw again again...I love the acts!I love everything...The scenery and such.
But I still think that glitter doesnt fit in that PV. Its too happy for some deep parts.

Ow and like Love Appears said: There many things that she could done. Not only the beach scene is the only option that we have.

Actually Ayu was acting pretty well. If you watch romance Japanese doramas, you will notice that she follows the ideal formula of a girl in love but who is trying to hold back her emotions. The wide eyed staring is frequent in female dorama actors who I guess are trying to convey their emotions with their eyes.
