I got mixed feelings about this.
The song doesn't fit at all. That's one thing for sure. This is so Youtube. Where people collaged random anime scenes and put random songs over them and call them AMVs.
Go ahead if you want to have a short-film, but at least use a more fitting song. The atmosphere in "glitter" is obviously about leisure, and I don't see how that fit with the movie, which is a bit more...sad. You know, it's kinda tickling to hear "Wowowowow yeah!" when the people in the video have this sad look all over. XD
Maybe "fated" can fit more in this kinda of video.


Now that you guys mention it, I think another beach video may fit better with this song...but then again people will complain she's having too much beach video.



On the positive note, the song starts to grow on me after watching the....promotional video.

Does have tsuki ni shizumu any music in it ... I mean ... hmm ... was there any "Voyage" in it?

I like how the video has at least some sort of plot. I'm going to wait until the short film to make any judgement though, because this PV was messy.

..But what if this is actually the 'glitter' part in the short film?

Voyage works. It fits with the theme of the music.

after watching it, again and again. i think nothing wrong with this PV. everything match perfectly, the song, the scene, the act everything is very well done...we really have to high expectation about what ayu do, i don't know how ayu can make better pv than this...its good...
i love the ending part very much, when ayu let go shawn hand, and she feel miserable after that, its make me want to know the second part of the PV, and that will be fated PV...so..can't wait!

you misunderstood me ... that was a real question ... does have tsuki ni shizumu voyage played in it ... as an actual score in the movie ...

well..i totally didnt feel like it was a promo clip for the single...though i hope it is...coz someparts really didnt fit...but didnt the preview have the parts where they should be....

its too bad if u hate it....coz the only OTHER PV is imagine for glitter is on the beach again....

i bet fated will be like freakin touching!

I don't think the "video" is the best, but it's just way too cute and I'm a sucker for cute things so with that note - I'm satisfied with 'glitter'.

edit: has anyone touched on the subject that the glass scene could be the glitter PV? like there's the film ... and then there's the PV. whatever - i'm not making sense again.

This PV is cheesy beyond words, but I have not smiled so much watching a Ayumi PV in a long while. It’s so sweet, and it’s the first time she’s kissed anyone in a PV. The Hong Kong backdrop and influences are great too. Looks like Hong Kong made the most impression on her out of the 3 Asian tour stops outside Japan.

I especially love the tabloid magazine part! It’s so funny. And Ayu looks so cute all wide-eyed and bimbo-y. It’s exactly how a girl would look/behave if she’s looking at someone she fancies. So cute!!!!

Shawn Yue apparently edged out Edison Chen for the lead role, and I’m so glad he did. Edison’s bad-boy drawl really pisses the hell out of me at times. I know many girls dig that kind of ****, but it’s just dumb to me. And anyway, Shawn Yue probably looked how Ayu wanted him to look, so give him a break. We all know Ayu calls the shots for her work.

What a friggin waste of a good song. Not only is the acting horrible, but the direction of the video is pathetic. The music just sounds like it's background music; like a crappy AMV of sorts. And puhhhhlease, there were like 3 pieces of glass.

okay the video is beyond a bad love story XD and I swear if she doesnt glue her eyes they will fall out of her head some day XD (they seem to get bigger and bigger)...but some how it was cute...I wished it would be an alternate version like Ai Otsukas yumekui ~Tokyo friends version~(which in that case was the better one^^)...and for the original glitter PV something like the in video (the one with the blue dress)

You can watch the PV on Youtube.com and Veoh.com. It's an okay PV, I've never seen Ayumi do something like it.
