I have really high hopes of it selling 120,000, but with the box set being released and it being quite expensive, I wonder if people would go on to continue to buy You were.../BALLAD. Hopefully it'll stick around on the charts a little longer; it deserves it =]

^well.. not everyone is going to buy teh box.. and in japan it's still no available to preorder... plus, those who will buy the box are teh onew who bought Yw/B the first day/week ^^ now just casual listeners or people who couldn't buy it before are buying teh single now...

Yeah, that's true. I'm really hoping the sales for it go up a little, but I'm really rooting for the sales of the new album to do better than they have recently. Don't get me wrong, the sales haven't been that terrible.

I still think You were.../BALLAD deserves to go a little further. It would be so unfortunate if it ends just before 120,000

me tooo -_____- I hope the new album would do better on charts... but I'm happy if it does like NEXT LEVEL...

well, I meant that as the box is limited not everyone will be able to buy it ^^ now it's sold out everywhere for pre-order!! those fans that are buying the box or CD+DVD, now, are probably the ones that buy Yw/B the first weeks... that's why I don't see the album announcement affecting the single too much...

And looking at TH post, seems like so ^^ Maybe next week will drop more??

I seee Yw/B ending with 118K... I hope YUI won't pass it... it should seel almost 8K..

nah I don't think GLORIA will overtake You were ... / BALLAD

GLORIA didn't had any tie in or so to pull in sales (I could be wrong though) as compared to her comeback single again which was used to promote the fullmetal anime

It's all too much / Never say die's tie in's were decent as they served as promo songs for Kaiji the movie (which will open tomorrow here

)

then again , YUI's singles sales have been around 100K + or so

Actually, a lot of people seem to be buying the CD+DVD.

The price on Amazon for the CD+DVD is about 3200yen and the price for the CD only is 3100yen. Obviously, people will pay 100yen more for something that has a DVD, haha. I don't really know how many the box sold, but it must've been a LOT to stay in the top 5 even after completely selling out.

(#17 on Amazon.jp as opposed to #870)
