I tried to block out this version of Still Alone because her voice gives me chills and she's not washed out with the backing track and I want the song to keep going.

I haven't seen many Ayu CMs but I really loved that Tu-Ka HANABI CM. It was so beautiful. I also remember reading some old threads here about that Moments CM. It looks like it caused a real uproar back in the day haha. XD

If I saw these for the first time back in 2006 when I was just getting familiar with Ayu's music, I would think "Nice music, but she seems more like a freakin' model to me lol" or something.

I so wish I was her fan during her peak. It would've been too awesome. ;_;

blah, i always liked the song moments SO MUCH more than the CM..
if I had listen to the CM first I dont think I would of bought the single.
Vogue was never good to me.
Still alone is HORRIBLE.

Hanabi tu ka CM,wow what a nostalgic CM,another natural look,and so so sad and moving,

A DREAM NEVER CAME TRUE (maybe,who knows Ayu will make it for her 15th anniversary LOL) I WISH FOR HANABI PV LIKE THE ONE IN THE Tu ka CM , would be so wonderful,i really want to see her doing the full version for Hanabi PV.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who was nearly traumatized by the failure of "still alone" to sound anything like that gorgeous Takanoyuri CM on its album version... to date, I don't think any Ayu song has disappointed me as much as "still alone." Not even "my name's WOMEN" which is way up there (the unique, gorgeous, rumbling chorus does NOT reveal how poppy and simplistic the verses are on that one.)

Funny because the first thing I thought (pretending these cm were new) was "wow her voice sounds so much better!! It's just amazing".

I like this version of Moments so much... Her voice sounds different when she says "hana no..." I love it so much. Love the strings too. The actual song is still one of her best song IMO.

Ohh yes ! even if i like "still alone" in I am... everything on the CM is much better (voice, arrangements etc...). It's a pity, she decided to rerecord this song ... and it's the same case for "Naturally" it's one of my favorite song but the version for Kosee is like for "still alone" particulary her voice here more fresh & clear =(

aw wish I felt the same. The CM version sounds so crowded to me...like, too many things happening.

But it's a little more unique than the album version. I always thought the album version was kinda, unoriginal? or...something. idk the arrangement had a western feel for me that I found typical somehow.

I can't pretend I've heard these for the first time because I keep singing along. But I can remember the overwhelming excitement I felt for everlasting dream / track 1 from RAINBOW ad and the everywhere nowhere ad. RAINBOW was my first original ayu album ( I only had her remix albums prior) and everytime I listen to it, I get that feeling.

When the "Moments" CM came out I was one of many members who was convinced it wasn't her singing. XD Not one of my better moments.... hah! I said "moments." That's funny.

But yeah, her voice sounded SO different in the CM version of that song, there was heated debate about whether it was even her or not when all we had was a low-quality RealPlayer file available to us.
