Now that I think about it...it doesn't matter how many interludes there are. As long as the main songs are good I really don't care. XD

I wonder if people would be complaining about this album if it didn't have the interludes and just had the new tracks instead. Then all the complaints would be about the album being too short and needing some more material and then maybe the interludes would be welcome? Nobody is ever satisfied no matter how hard somebody tries.

On the topic of album's being short, BoA's debut and Utada's new album are both about 36 minutes in length! All the tracks on Next Level excluding the interludes will be longer than those two. How come nobody is complaining about those two albums? This Is the One is easily as good as anything that Utada has ever released and BoA's new album is gonna be hot. Those don't have interludes so I guess it's fine they are short though.

It's all about quality over quantity. Keep that in mind people. I'll take 6 great new songs instead of waiting a longer period of time and getting 10 new songs that are only good and nothing more

Yeah, that's how I thought about it and calmed down as well.
I listened to the previews and I'm still excited for the album.
The new songs sound great!

if you look at her past albums in correlation to "new songs" ....NEXT LEVEL is right there with them.....and give ayu a break, she's been working really hard, her recent sickness and broken arm are proof of that (and maybe that finger O_o)

So yea. Duty had "6 new songs" and is a 12 song (1 interlude/intro....which is my favorite one) album. It's my favorite album. I really like Ayu's newer songs so I'm sure this album will be awesome.

Don't complain about number of new songs when you don't realize that it's always been like this. rawr! <3

Here she's putting out less songs with vocals and all people do is complain. Give her a break. At least she's working way more than American artists here, who happen to take forever to spin out new material. Singing and entertaining is her career but she's got a life too.

I was looking forward to Disco-munication T__T; Waahh..

They have to be good interludes for her to include so many, right? >->;

I hope the other tracks make up for it....^_________^;

Rescue reminds me of Sparkle~
DID SOMEONE SAID KAT-TUN ?

anyway I can't see anything simliar music wise between Sparkle & RESCUE at all

sure both have electro roots going on in them but Sparkle tend to lean towards more towards the trance part too while for RESCUE it's more towards the rock part aside from electro in the mix

It doesn't remind me of Sparkle! But the "I don't wanna cry alone" part is catchy... (And here I thought KAT-TUN couldn't make a song I liked!)
that & also the beatboxing which's magical

I mean even Ayu's going with the flow of the electropop phase, she always adds a bit of herself in her music that makes it her own. I can't really think of another artist who could do Sparkle as well really...

Not to mention, the entire album is NOT electropop (from what I hear) it sounds like this album is mixed with a lot of other genres but just happens to have a few electropop tracks in it. I don't think that's anything to get your undies in a bunch over.
well I don't know but I just hope that NEXT LEVEL will be something that will surprise me , I already like the singles that made the cut on the album

I just have a feeling the mood will be much cheery & upbeat unlike GUILTY

I guess I am the only one who when first heard it thought the electronic type sounds and beat remind me of sparkle.. ahaha

Of course the songs are different, beatboxing, rap, etc.
But I think the instruments (electronic ones) are similar~

Anyways.. my point was.. ahahaha
I think the electro-rock-pop-whatevers is really in style right now.

well the intro for both songs are already different .

Sparkle - synth
RESCUE - fire inspired like noises (a nod to Nakamaru Yuichi & NEWS's Masuda drama of the same title)

also another point's that RESCUE's almost completely in full Eng , chorus wise & that didn't happened for Sparkle's case

yeah it's , it can be a good or bad thing depending on how you look at it

Yeah, they don't have to sound the exact same but they are still in the same genre definitely. Electro-pop, techno-pop whatever you want to call it, is definitely the IN thing right now.

4 interludes?
I hope it will be good mini/short songs, well, like Mirror or something else
But I hope it won't be like GUILTY
GUILTY is okay, but I just don't really crush on it although Glitter & MY ALL are good songs...^^

Quoting what someone said quite a long time ago, at least she didn't go to the NEXT LEVEL of interludes and make it 5 interludes

Jokes aside, I honestly don't mind how many interludes she does 'cuz I'll still enjoy the album lol.

MAYBE Mirrorcle World will be on it as a hidden bonus track or something...
Why wouldn't she put it on the album?

^Exactly. MW works best as only the 10th anni single alone.
If she would out it on the album I would just... T-t-t-t...
