cd. portable cd players are so outdated, because of its big size. mp3 players are in fashion now!

I usually switch up. With my asian music, I especially listen on my CD player, because now I finally can listen to it on a CD player.

I use cd players when I'm on road trips or just in my room with nothing to do. But if i'm exercising or going for a walk, I use my mp3 player.

I don't have room for a CD system in my dorm room so I just listen to my music on my laptop. Sometimes I play CDs on it but only the ones that I don't have loaded on my hard drive (I only got so much room )

I don't have a working MP3 player so I just listen to my music on my PSP when I go out. It really a hassle since it's so large.

I use CDs when in the car, other wise I rip them to my iPod as soon as I get them.

I don't even own an ipod or mp3 player or anything like that.

I love using my cds, and I never have to worry about my walkman or cds being stolen, because no one wants them.

Same here. I just consider my PSP my MP3 player, but it's definitely troublesome to take it anywhere. Basically, I just bring it on car trips when I'm being driven somewhere.

I had been using CDs up until recently, when I just decided to rip my CDs to the computer. Now, I listen to most music on here. Still, I listen to CDs when I'm driving and on my alarm clock/radio/cd player before going to bed. It's sad, because they're starting to become almost obsolete, which I don't like. Nonetheless, I buy them because I feel guilty downloading anything illegally. Plus, I like to collect actual CDs as they're tangible objects, rather than MP3s that only exist on computers/MP3 players.

Another inconvenience on top of the PSP's size is the fact that my headphones are big too. They are DJ style ones and the plugin sticks out of the PSP a good two inches. It feels like I have a boomerang in my coat pocket!

I listen to music on my iPod or iTunes when I'm on the computer about 99% of the time, but I'll listen to my CD player every now & then

I have a 6-disc CD changer in my car and I prefer to use that instead of an ipod. I still listen to CDs in my home stereo also. When the changer in my car finally breaks down, I'll probably just hook up the ipod to it.

Of course. I do use it quite often actually. I'd rather have the sound spreading in a room than focusing it all on my eardrums with headphones. I don't mind changing CDs at all.
iPODs sucks. I have the 30GB one that plays video, the battery runs off if you listen to only 1 album. That's rather ridiculous. I don't have patience to be using itunes (itunes is an ass, what an annoying thing) and keep on recharging the thing several times. Sometimes I feel like tossing that pile of crap in the trash for good.

I got an iPod for Christmas so my MP3 player problems are solved for the time being!! Let's hope this one doesn't turn to crap like my last one did.

I listen to my CD player when my ipod battery runs out and I forget to charge it.

I also listen to CDs in my stereo while I clean around the house.

that must be nice. Usually with me its not a fear of it being stolen (CDs i mean) but of them being damaged. I'd cry, cause they cost so much.
