I noticed that as well, making the entire death thing seem really eerie. That's horrible news though, despite the fact that I've never heard of her. I'll definitely check out some of those PVs to see what her music was like, but it will probably feel odd.

Aww, she was so cute. RIP and my heart goes out to the family and friends. I wasn't very familiar with her music, but I knew of her. Now I don't think I'll be able to listen to it now. It'll be sad and creepy.

About her death, her mother did say that she suffered from depression. It's a horrible sickness that affects every aspect of your life, including your perception of things. So, no. She didn't just kill herself over low sales. That sure didn't help, but that wasn't the sole reason.

This is very sad; any death is sad, but especially when it is of a young person. The general public will probably never know the full reasons as to why U;nee hung herself, since it seems that she was also secretive about a lot of her life.

my gosh, first time i've come to this forum and recieved such horrible news......(besides secret not selling as well as it should have, jk jk).....but anyway, that's horrible, i feel so sorry for her parents, she was so pretty too, but i guess there were a lot of things in her life that were bothering her.

argh, i feel so sad now.........if this happened to ayumi , i'd drop dead.....uh...i don't even want to think about it.....may her soul rest in peace

Apparently, she had been on hiatus for quite a while, and only recently was to make her comeback.

A lot of Koreans surprisingly only know of her comeback and not that she's gone.. :<

Ayumi has went threw alot of depression even though she is a famous star and icon but she wouldnt go hang herself and ayu had a really horrible past that she does not talk about. But yeah U;Nee was basically what we would call benched for a year and a few months so she was in a hard place. the Korea music industry is rough! down right dirty i heard i mean BoA had it bad just debuting and i can tell she doesn't really want to go back to Korea for music festivities it is so harsh over there all their artist have to be perfect, flawless. U;nee was a victim of that industry. I wished she didnt have to take her life but she seemed to be hurt for a while my prayers and love are with her

totally a surprise for me... just days before she hung herself I discoverd her music. The "Call Call Call" PV floating around on youtube was so cool-ish, that I totally fell for her. Now it's a really hard punch for me. She was so pretty and her style was awsome. But, if the roumers are true, she must have had really sufferd. Attacks to her and her "well done" breast-enhancement and spreading roumers around the kroean press isn't for everybody. May she rest in peace and her grandma should be prould to have such a good grandchild.

She was an amazing artist and released a single in Japan called "ONE" that song was awesome. She was so gorgeous and omgish she had talent. My friend who is korean told me it was no surprise this happened. The Korea press is really really harsh and will bring down an artist by spreading horrible rumors and going into their private life.

No wonder why BoA isn't so pressed on going back to Korea. It's always other there where she is near dying all the time and passing out and getting hurt. It's very hectic there i think that is why alot of korean artist come to japan and start a career.

I wonder if the U.S is being to harsh on Britney Spears... seeing what happened to this beautiful talented woman makes me wonder. I have battled with suicide and it is not a easy fight either. You can have 1 million friends who care and love you but somthing in the brain causes it.
And medication makes it worse... i stopped taking mine and its fine!
