I think Ayu knows something we don't. She's using english in interviews, and singing more western styled music, her slaes in Japan are slowly dwindling......
I see an English singing career coming soon. I know so many ppl who never heard japanese music, but upon my introduction, they start liking it. So i dont see how Americans are close minded. I mean maybe on a large scale they tend to seem that way because of what the music industry forces us to listen to. But if someone like ayu came stateside, i seriously think she'd do well once her Japanese career is gone, and maybe id ont have facts to back this up but i dream of it all the time she'll sing in english.

Yeah, but OLIVIA is pretty low on the AVEX chain ((and don't take that the wrong way, I luff OLIVIA [saw her at PMX + loves her pre-NANA work] *u* ))--- and Kumi is still "fresh" enough to have been up for it~ I think also Ayu might be pretty set in her ways, too. She knows where her strongest base is, it might just be an overall inconvenience to even try.
