it has... ~940K on the first week (both albums) then 190K this week.. so now it's about 1.13 million copies being sold

Uhm... is hard to belive but I know 3 fans of my city that bought both versions (B&W), and my city is a little island. If in every city of Europe and America 3 people buy both versions...

then again oricon miss out on many online stores and not just stores and there the oversea fans in asian and some in other parts of the world, if i'm not wrong ayu still one of the most popular if not the most popular japanese singer in asia. i think around 870k sold outside japan is possible and stores that orico didnt count.

like bluegie said it has already sold 1.13 million counted by oricon. for both version

No way. Two or three artists sell over 1 million copies in the whole Asia territory (excluding Japan) and Ayu isn't one of them. I mean, she is really popular, but she's nowhere near as big and promoted as, say, Jay Chou or even Rain and not even them sell that much, so..

so far what are the total sales numbers from ORICON?
if they mangae to sell a certain amount, then it is possible that the article is referring to the amount ahipped out and sales

^They recover that 'loss' by giving each store a different weighting.

i.e. Let's say you bough 1 CD from Tower Records in Shibuya, that might translate to 5 CDs on Oricon to make up for the music stores not counted by Oricon.

I think it's a typo or it's the number of copies shipped.
