I just love the progression of the triology and then the triple number ones of duty. ^_^ That this is what set her apart form others is also backed up by some documentaries, also she already had two number one albums, if the third one "failed", she would probalby had been labelled "any common popular aidoru". But she kept going.

JaysenRyan; I don't think it's just a fans' term, even timeasia labelled her the empress of japanese pop. I*m sure it must've been used in japanese media before that too.
