I'm sure it's a canary? Why would she put a crow in a song about canaries? lol

but aren't canaries supposed to be like, tweety bird?
and isn't the robo-bird in the pv like, a raven or a crow? maybe that has to do with the lyrics, somehow... maybe the people are actually the canaries? |

i think Humming 7/4 means like
1_3/4 (x) humming like a math problem thats the way i see it. So like. 1_3/4 (x) humming = Singing. |

^ i think the most logical meaning of Humming 7/4 is that the 7/4 is a time signature, meaning she's humming in 7/4 time...7 beats per measure, 4 notes to a whole note, 2 beats to a half note, and 1 beat to a quarter note. it doesn't sound much different than a song in 4/4 or 6/8 time, but there is a subtle difference.
and that isn't a canary in the Kanariya PV. It's too big. And the crow/raven/whatever it is, could symbolize some kind of darkness or sorrow. it would fit the lyrics. Just cuz the song is called Canary doesnt mean the PV HAS to have a canary in it. |

I thought it was a crow, but I knew the song was about a canary. It's black... but I don't know a thing about birds XD
But HANABI means firework.. I suppose that explains the firework things in the PV. |

Yeah. HANABI (the lyrics) has nothing to do with fireworks
But if youthink of HANABI ~episode 2~ as a conitnuation, which it basically it is, the last line of HANABI~episode 2~ DOES have to do with Fireworks .. so it makes sense. I think it is ... "And that night my emotions for you blew up like fireworks in the night sky" or something like that. |

HANABI:
I'm looking up at the stained sky so my tears don't well up and fall. HANABI ~episode II~ : This feeling, this feeling, go up into the sky And be dispersed beautifully like a firework Yeah something to do with a firework in both the lyrics

Also, when her grandmother died she wasn't even in the same city as her family (wasn't she recording music at the begining of her career?). She could be refearing to the fact that she wasn't there when her grandmother died and that she didn't get hear her say that she loved Hamasaki. |

i think that it was before one of her concerts, when she found out her grandmother died
i think that the song's more related to her grandmother. just my opinion anyways, for weird titles: what about STEP you? how can you STEP someone? |

If my memory serves me right, it's about steps in relationship. The first one is the glamour Ayu, where she charmed the man. But then she doesn't want to appear cheap, so she act cool (the second ayu). As their relationship advance, she began to appear more shy and afraid (the third ayu). Next, after she confirmed with their love she is not afraid to seduce him with her sexiness (the fourth ayu). I kinda forgot who wrote so though.

Ooh so that's what STEP you means
Thank-you.Kanariya Wikipedia tells us: Quote:
The city is alive The people are restless The birds that fly into the night are already asleep. The bird associated with night is a crow? Hence why it is black. I'm not sure.... but that's my expanation. We should just ask Ayu.
