I just recently learned Ayu was featured recently in a Mexican magazine called "Día Siete" it.s a national weekly magazine, featured as a supplement for Very important Newspapers of México.

They have this little entries on their pages and they talk about celebrities of the world, and this time was Ayu´s turn!!

This japanese woman, at age 29, has transformed herself into the pop artist that has more number one singles in her country. Ayu, as her fans refer to, has sold over 50 million copies of her records, putting her in the 3rd position as one of the most rentable artists of japan. Nonetheless, her life has not been an easy ride. Her father abandoned her mother when Ayu was only a little girl. Later on Ayumi herself left high school to do modeling, one of her first true passions. But she had one problem: she was to small to make it on that field, that´s why she took her chances as an actress as well. Her "Step" into the music industry came when she was discovered by a producer while singing in a Karaoke place with some of her friends. That´s when one of the most influential Stars of the land of the raising sun, was born. And now is preparing to conquer America.

First of all.. I don´t think they know more about Ayu than us! lol... So that whole.. "preparing to conquer America" maybe they said it to create some excitement... we all know ayu won.t be coming anytime soon! (unless she gives us a surprise visit! )

And I think they used a pretty funny picture of her! of what she represents! lol... I would have choosen a more classy! but it is a fun picture!.

oh and I love this magazine!, I had a subscription but not anymore!... a friend of mine is getting me the magazine!
