Ayumi will beat her, yep yep. Yuming's voice is horrible and annoying... and extremely creepy in her version of "Sotsugyou Sashin"........ but her lyrics are beautiful..... as Ayumi's are.

It is a weird voice, and I couldn't stand it the first time I heard her. I actually thought it was a joke, but somehow it grew on me immensely. I'm not saying it will on you as well, but I own two CDs by her now, and I'm considering getting more.

I actually liked Yumi's Sotsugyou Shashin better though, but Haru Yo Koi is a toss-up for me. Ayu's vocals were absolutely gorgeous, as well as the arrangement, but Yumi's original is a classic. Still, I think that considering the fact Ayu performed covers of two of her songs denotes that she highly respects her (since Ayu previously said she doesn't like to perform covers often because she feels it isn't her own). So I think Ayu is probably proud enough to be a runner-up to her. But that's just my opinion

Doesn't matter too much to me, Ayu's still the best, number one or not in sales(imo) as long as she keeps doing her thang.

I'm not sure who exactly sang Tokyo, but I'm almost positive it wasn't Yumi.

It used to be on Youtube, but I just checked and I think it was taken down. I'm sure you can find it in the downloads forum. It's a TV performance from some show (wasn't it like Music Festival or something like that?) and there's no actual studio recording, unfortunately.

Does it matter that ayu is *only* number two? Yumi is an immensely respected and famous artist and for ayu to be so close in sales is incredible. I'm happy having ayu be second to someone as great as Yumi.
