After countless singles. two full length album, live concerts and trouble with the police, UVERworld are once again proving the power they have in the Japanese music industry with yet another single release! This single comes less than three months after their last single, endscape.

The A-side, titled Shaka BEACH ~Laka Laka La~, will be a summer tune. The single will include three new songs and will come in the CD-only format and a limited CD+DVD version. The CD-only version will come with a first press extra.

Originally formed in 2002 as SANGOKU ROAD, the seven member band dissolved after two members left and they eventually debuted as a five member group as UVERworld in 2005 with their hit song D-tecnoLife which was used as the anime BLEACH’s second opening. They released two more singles and then released their debuted album Timeless. A mere three months later, they released their fourth single, Colors of the Heart, which was another anime theme.

Two more singles later and UVERworld were ready to release their second album, BUGRIGHT. Originally to be released a month earlier, the album was postponed due to Takuya getting arrested after speeding through traffic and taunting a police officer. After this incident, Takuya cut his hair to forget the whole mess and UVERworld recorded a website-only song, Rinku, to let his fans know he was sorry.

Can't wait! I love their entire discography. Does anyone happen to have that song, Rinku, by the way? I think that's the only song I haven't heard by them.
