Actually, BLUE BIRD is really well liked by a lot of people in Japan. My friend's there right now and he was in a music store in the Ayu section and almost everyone around him suggested he start with BLUE BIRD 'cause it's summer right now. It was strange. I happen to like it a lot anyway; not completely revolutionary & unique =/= bad.

I think Ayu should be different this year and shouldn't perform Boys & Girls and July 1st, instead she should perform her other summer songs.

What's with the July 1st hate?

It's like, a traditional thing to do at her a-nation concerts. People want to hear stuff that makes them pumped up, which is why TRF continues to perform their classics like EZ DO DANCE and CRAZY GONNA CRAZY. It's not as interesting for people in the audience who don't really usually listen to Ayu to hear something that might not catch their ears as easily, you know? D:
