have u guys seen the PV of How to be a girl by Namie Amuro? yeah...i dont get it. what does it mean? like..whats it about?

Its about the Tokyo´ter Underground as far as I know...I started during Want me Want me but back than I did a lot af research...

actually I never get what the titel has to do with the maning of the pV...somewhat its hard for a girl in Tokyo Undergroudn or what...but each train part shows at least another side of cheap amusement...that what i got

Well I think it's about what's happened recently in her life. It has a lot of symbolism, that's for sure. Like, the image of the plane taking off meant someone is leaving, or she is leaving. The girls in white... hmm, I think they are images of her, each one is each stage of her life. The clowns that appear in the alley are the "haters". In the middle, when she gets on top of the dance floor and surveys everyone, I think it's like... she's the queen now... bow down to me! People on the dance floor in the beginning were like "who's this chick?". In the end, she breaks open the "cage" it's like, she's no longer trapped. That's what I think, at least.

i think the scene where she is wearing that black dress and walking the opposite way of the models in white was like..showing how unique she was? cuz all the models had the same hair and same dress and same skin colour and height. she was the opposite...so..showing how she is different?

I'm guessing we have different intepretations of the video. I merely told you to watch the video because you asked me what I was talking about (rather rudely, in my opinion).

Back on topic! What did you guys think the black snakes represented? One was about to bite Namie's leg but she grabbed it. What does that mean? I think it means something like "Hey, you wanna fight me? You better be prepared for a battle!". Was this during her decline and the ascent of Ayumi?

snakes? there were snakes in the video? i dont remember that..if there were,,maybe you were right. but ayumi hasnt debuted yet back when that video was made (1997)..ayu debuted 1998..besides, ayu wasnt that popular when she first debuted.
