hmm..disappointed with ayu fans in japan...t2m actually sell lower then glitter/fated..people are so hyped up with this single yet the sale figures reflected the opposite.

DBSK is a great threat to ayu's streak..we all know that ayu's recent singles excel at first week's sales but has short chart life...and in addition her sales may not maintain at around 8~14k every day for a week..while DBSK's sales may be more stable due to the boy band factor..thus im sure that there will be a stiff competition between DBSK and ayu in terms of single sales..hope that ayu will still be able to maintain her streak..which is very essential for her career.

this single is really one of her best .T

I know it awful but people generally want to be the big voice and voice their opinions. It may not be what everyone would do and i agree people shouldn't do it at all in such ways but thats life sadly.

It's hard to generalise it theres a toone of reasons why her sales are going down and some aren't even her fault. Just have to face it society is changing and Ayu has been around for a long time. I mean yeah there might be the reasons of sales but its only one factor its not the main factor wither its just to hard to generalise.

I like the single and theres nothing wrong with it. What i say and think compared to others si two different things.

Maybe it's the fact that there was only one performance yet. Maybe more performances will change this single's sales.

Okay her dancing wasn't so great but I've seen so much worse in J-Pop. A load of girl/boybands have these retarded dances which make me think I'm back to kindergarten. Seriously dancing is so not something most of the Japanese stars excel in. Most artists just have a simple choreography or prance around like idiots. Only serious singers-dancers like BoA pull it off well.

In any way, I bet whoever said it was some annoying person who can only make themselves feel better by insulting a diva.

Doesn't it seem that the female singles this year are on the decline?

Thanks Honey and dayumi Well female artists don't seem to get that much attention as boybands I guess... I imagine it's because teenage girls are the ones who are more likely to purchase multiple copies and be obsessed with every single release.

Y A Y ~ ! Number one today !!!! Hopefully she'll get the week too. No one super popular released this week right?

And it's only the first day of sales, why is everyone freaking out? It's called momentum people, maybe it'll pick up some momentum during the week. You never know

I just think we should be happy that ayu will get another #1!
The sales aren't the worse, really XDDDD
On this week ayu's single will sell more than all of the other singles in Japan.
And even if the sales aren't high, and even if ayu won't get #1 (well she will but anyway) she is still the greatest for me of course and will always be ^_^. ayu belongs to her fans and people who like to listen to her xD and only for us she enjoys doing her work as a huge quality singer.

Well sales aren't that good either but I guess we have to deal with it. In the end though getting yet another #1 is a good thing. Hopefully it'll pick up with performances and appearances.

However I blame the sales factor on avex. They were pretty cheap this time and it showed really blatantly. The songs were completely awesome but the rest was seriously below Ayu's standard. Can't expect awesome sales with some cheap artwork and also two cheap pvs. Usually in a single she has one pv which is boring while the other has something appealing, but this time.. both have nothing special. Granted they're not bad, but they're just the typical pvs I see from the rest of the J-Pop world. To be honest I wouldn't pick this up just by looking at the cover

I really don't understand though why they chip in money for her to go to LA just to record music and not take advantage and shoot something more interesting to the audience. Seriously can't she just go to a regular studio in Japan and record? It's strange sometimes how avex's creative marketing works.

I seriously wonder what some of you will say the day Ayu's #1 streak finally breaks. Some of you are WAY too accustomed to her being on top: you need to accept that there will come a day she won't be anymore.

Anyway, I think, considering how low sales in Japan have been for the past year, that this is actually really good. Some artists who have singles in the top 10 don't even debut for the week with a number like that.

That's exactly what I always say, I hope people here don't like ayu because rankings or/& sales XD

Actually boybands also experience large (or even larger) drop in sales.
