^I think that Avex released it early because it was leaked early...so I guess they put a rush on it so that the single wouldn't lose too much vaule.

Even glitter/fated is still charting... don't know if it will chart this week...
A BEST 2 -WHITE charted this week too! A BEST 2 -BLACK- dropped out but it has a chance to come back I think...

That was on 2005, now it's nearly 2008...
Generally after the peak sales go only down... or a bit up at time and down and up etc....
There are a lot worse cases like BoA's for example and kumi's that just last year sold 200,000-300,000 for single, has single sales that are really close to ayu's as of now while kumi had her popularity after her >_< things are just getting worse.

I don't see why so many people are disappointed, she was selling 300ks almost 3 years ago, it is expected her sales will get to the point where they are, even Hikki had her share of low sales.talkin' 2 myself is doing just fine, besides most of us loved it soo much, and I'd always pick great songs over better sales.

Well I'm a bit disappointed she didn't sell close to 200k but then again avex did a poor job at promoting this single and probably people got a bad impression of it.

I totally agree. I think probably decision is a b-side, but it's poor, why didn't she performed the song? It's so great for lives. The dances on the lives of t2m made the vocal not too good. It was like the little dancing of glitter.

I don't know why Hikki sells more than Ayu. Her recent singles are so generic to me. Flavor Of Life was ok, not too good not too horrible, I know, but Beautiful World, Boku Wa Kuma... It was so generic.

Ayu needs a hit urgently. Why don't she sings Umbrella? J/K

Yea, I agree! Like I said in the other t2m thread, Ayu's doing GREAT for a person her age. People her age in the music business is struggling just to get 50K in single sales and 100k in album sales. Let's be grateful that Ayu still sales like CRAZY and is still in the GAME!

Also, I would say that Hikki sales more than Ayu is b/c Hikki's music is more appealing to the Japanese, let's not forget age factor, and for peak sake, FIRST LOVE! XD That song trumphs any ballad ever made! lol

Well I don't think that hikki's music is more apprealing since she had great and awesome singles on 2005 but they sold a bit "low" (around the 100,000 while ayu's singles sold more than 300,000, so I do think that the majority is the promotion, or release a certain song just at a right time and the tie-ins...
I mean both ayu and hikki wouldn't do well without a good promotion, tie-ins and releasing appealing songs... They're just getting up and down since both peaks were some years ago... well hikki's peak was her first year and ayu's was 2001... kumi's was 2005 so after the peak they won't reach the same (or even close I think) again =\.
Though ayu is the older from them but still doing really good, that is something remarkable, I mean, in 2007 selling almost 2,000,000 single and album copies after so many years for a japanese female artist it's like x_x and she just did an ASIA tour just now and she's still filling huge arenas quick... it's something special xD.

It seems to me that now ayu become more popular outside Japan... You see, we
don't know sales is China or Korea and so on... I think, including this factor her sales are much higher than 2 000 000 singles and albums.

Maybe she should release English album?

Well decision is more experimental so I guess that's why it never got performed. t2m was experimental enough.. or so it seems. I agree though that the choreography needed more work. Bet Peco was behind this

Hikki sells more because she has good tie ins and her popularity has grown once again.
