The japan TV station bought the copyrights of 'My Sassy Girlfriend'. The roles were meant for Ayu and 草 弓 剪 剛(from SMAP), but both companies are not happy with the 'relationship' of Nakai(SMAP) and Koda Kumi. therfore, the roles will be changed, it's rumoured that it will go to Erika Sawajiri

the second paragraph is not relevant (not about ayu) so i am not translating it.

Actually her acting is quite on spot. Especially in her past dorama parts. She just didn't have much chance to show off her acting skills because they were limited. And I doubt Ayu would accept secondary roles so if she does return we'll see her in the starring role.

Sucks that Ayu didn't get chosen though somehow I always thought that the Kumi/Nakai relationship was fabricated by avex/Johnny's. I'm not surprised they're reconsidering Erika. After the incident many companies are reconsidering her.
