Oh that changes everything. If that's the case probably she'll sing the new ballad.

It's the end of the days with the big skirts! No wonder Kouhaku ratings are plummeting like there's no tomorrow. It's not special enough! But then again, artistes tend to perform their singles instead of unreleased tracks (JEWEL was like an exception, but it was originally meant to be a single anyway) so I'm glad that at least she wasn't going to perform glitter! That would have been WAY UNFITTING for the occasion (similar to that year she did fairyland, it's winter outside and you're singing a summer song?!)

I think they need to give them more exciting sets like certain variety shows do and also try and get artists to create a more exciting performance. The only highlight in the last kohaku was the DJ OZMA crazy act.
