Well I dont really know about Reborn or Rebirth, b/c to me that seems to be an album title an artist would have if they are like....returning from a long time break or starting over in a new genre, you know? lol

oh...no doubt about it! I think it's WONDERFUL and so beautiful. I just don't think that Ayu herself would choose that specific word. I dunno why tho. ><

It's fun to guess and make up words, but I somehow doubt that any of us will guess correctly.

I'm not saying it's impossible, though! I once predicted a cover for glitter/fated and it was pretty darn close! I predicted Ayu as a mermaid, therefore water all around, with a silvery tail and rainbow colors all around the cover. And what did the official cover turn out to be? Ayu standing in water with a silvery dress, and the title of the single in rainbow colors. O_O Honest to God. XD

In a nutshell, I wonder if anyone will ever guess a title correctly.

01. CUPID | happy, bouncy insturmental. lots silly sounds (laughter, bells, whistles, etc.)

03. neon NIGHTS | (totally stole that title from Dannii Minogue! ^.^) Another experimental track, very 80s. Synthesizers, vocoder, etc but with a hard beat. Something like Rihanna's "Don't Stop The Music". Basically just about Ayu partying with some friends, a simple song.
04. feel it | Another dancy song but filled with bongos, shakers, and other related instruments. A very island like feel, a sort of reggae song but with a spanish guitar fluttering in the background. A simple song about feeling the music and expressing yourself
05. RIBBONS | Another summery song. About Ayu relating herself to a ribbon blowing in the summer breeze. I'm thinking acoustic guitars and keyboards. idk.
06. abyss | a sudden change in the album to the rock songs. dark and deep insturmental, very industrial sounding
07. MONSTER | a very hard rock song! strong guitars and drums, deep lyrics. Ayu's lyrics would be about people's dark personalities. Something like that, I'm not really sure.
08. decision | ...
09. wandering | another song about loneliness. I'm thinking of a Because of You kind of sound with the pianos and then the guitars.
10. talkin' 2 myself | ...
11. FIXATION| a haunting song about the tabloids obsession with her. starts of sort of quiet and then goes hard throughout and then quiets back down.
12. Midnight Dance | another instrumental, leading into the ballad section of the CD. A song that takes some of FIXATION, slows it down and then changes it completely.

14. part of Me | ...
15. Together When... | haven't really thought about it...
16. if it's true... | a soft rock ballad, quiet guitars floating in the background. About a guy proving his love to her, she's not sure if she can fully believe how he feels yet.
17. ETERNAL | The title track. Another ballad, but from Ayu specifically to her fans. Telling them how she'll always be there for them, always be the one to pick them up, always be the one to help them through. Eternally, y'know?

CD Tracklist Description:

01. Forever: The opening track of the new album is somewhat like "Not yet" in terms of length. This track begins with a beautiful instrumental and then Ayumi's voice softly intertwines with the music. Nearing the end, the track goes acapella for a few seconds as she sings the last 2 lines: [translated into English] "Because even the shortest moments with you are precious; you are truly beautiful."

04. Winter Wind: Another beautiful track with amazing lyrics. In this sorrowful ballad, Ayumi expresses her inability to forget someone once precious to her. The track slowly builds into a wonderful instrumental climax. After, the song returns to its normal pace and you can really hear the emotion in Ayu's voice. As the song finishes, you can nearly hear her crying as she sings the last line [translated into English] "You'll always be in my heart, even after my body passes away."

05. Bleak Imagination: Ayumi shows off an experimental flare on this song about having a future filled with hope (imagination). Considered the "Ladies Night" of the album by many, the song features an upetmpo beat with inspiring lyrics [translated into English]: "I decided long ago that the future must be better than today; we can cross that bridge together." In an interview on the album, Ayu said that she wrote the song after having a nightmare.

07. taskillumination: a brilliant upbeat interlude that has the element of sunshine to it; Many believe this this to be an attempt at an crossover. While the album contains various ballads, this upbeat track shows a directional change to a general tempo change from ballads to midtempo to even uptempo.

08. fake shop: A mysterious midtempo track about being able to distinguish reality from falsity. The song features a "cold beat" with simple but effective lyrics to show her message [translated into English] "What scares me now is never knowing what to believe in; these lies no matter how beautiful, are still lies."

09. glitter (already released)

10. Rain Flower: A wonderfully written track truly written from Ayu's heart and quickly becomes a fan favorite. On this song, Ayu sings about loneliness and how at times she feels like a aimless flower just trying to hold onto something. Somewhat compared to JEWEL from Secret Album, the song has a similar arrangement in that it is a piano ballad. At the end of the song, Ayu's vocals show amazing strength as the track becomes acapella.

11. Together When... (will be released)

12. inside outside: Of course, with the various sorrowful and emotional songs presented on the album, there has to be an uptempo track. While dabbling with a bit of an experimental sound, the song relies on a popping tempo to show a feeling of hope. [translated into English]: "Let's believe in a love so powerful that we're able to forget these days filled with confusion." Although many initially don't believe that the song fits in with the rest of the album, they soon see that it provides a broader spectrum of emotion while still drawing on the themes of the album.

13. Heart of Ice: This track is set apart for Ayu's vocal quality on this one. While Ayu's vocals have always been strong, they are truly showcased on this ballad about her feeling of an inability to love. Once again, the listeners are able to hear true emotion in her voice as she sings [translated into English]: 'I would return to that time again just to hear your voice, just to feel something like that, just one more time." Naturally, this song has become the song that fans identify with when they're feeling sorrowful.

14. blue world: An upbeat ethereal song about feeling so disconnected from the world sometimes, it's frightening. The melody of the song is described as "magical" and has become another fan favorite. Ayu has said that she loves this track and it was written on a snowy day. The lyrics show a sense of loss [translated into English] "Even the most basic emotions have become foreign; this place...just doesn't feel like home." Nearing the end, the song falls into acapella mode but soon switches back using its normal instruments.

15. Winding Rose Petals: As the closing track on the album, the song had to be strong and it doesn't disappoint. The song has an interesting arrangement as it begins soft but as the song grows into the chorus, a more upbeat tempo is established. Soon, there is an instrumental section of the song that melts into the final chorus as she sings [translated into English]: "I just wanted to say I love you, is it too late?" Using a little experimental magic, the song soon finishes with an upbeat tempo with the same beat as the opening section of "Forever."

04. Bleak Imagination PV: The PV uses the title in order to create the clear image of the lyrics. The PV features two different worlds: the first is a colorful world filled with hope and imagination. Ayu's happiness is not only seen but everyone in the town is hopeful in their hearts. Ayu has extensions in her hair during this segment of the PV. The other is a desolate world without hope filmed completely in black and white as the viewers can see Ayu's feeling of defeat especially in her eyes. At one point in the video, she falls to the ground and cries.

05. blue world PV: This video was filmed on a beautiful island in order to capture the beauty of the song. Ayu wakes up on a beach to find herself alone as she wanders though the beach. As the song progresses, the weather progressively becomes colder and at the climax of the song, rain falls. Ayu lays down as the rain falls over her and although it is potentially hard to notice, her tears melt with the rain.

While there are various ballads on the album, it is believed that they are present to really display the emotions that Ayu has felt whether they be sorrowful or cheerful.
