GUILTY Previews, did you liked them?

Well, it SHOULD seem rushed.

She started production on the album apparently after the important person of hers died [which was around beginning/mid-November..]~

So she basically pulled these tracks out in a matter of like a month.

Well when you put it that way, I guess I can understand. But still, how long does it take to add some lyrics and extend an interlude? Who died anyway? :<

Okay...so when Ayu releases m(u) with 16 tracks people complain that there's tracks with only the purpose of filling in numbers. Now Ayu's releasing an album with a lesser amount of full-length songs but from the previews sound like good quality music, yet people are now complaining there's too little tracks.

The album sounds way better than Secret. I love all the album tracks, especially don't leave me alone and marionette. 5 new tracks (6 including digital single), is perfectly fine for me. I rather have this than those bland OK album tracks like happy ending, hope or pain, liar... on My Story...

Not directing it to you, just a general observation . As well for your question...I'd say it takes a pretty long time starting from a composer thinking of a melody, creating the harmony for the melody, using instruments to create the counterpoint, finding instrumentalists to actually play the music, a mixer to put the song together, Ayu having to write out lyrics which she might not have any inspiration for at the moment, and then recording her vocals which I mean if her lives don't sound really nice all the time, I wonder how long it'd take in the recording studio .

(don't) leave me alone = impressive and unique, the main verse in addictive
GUILTY = Doesn't impress me, the album titled songs never do, except for Memorial address
marionette = scary and beautiful
MY ALL = nice, but it'll have to grow on me a bit
reBIRTH = the best instrumental track on the album, sounds kinda Final Fantasy to me
untitled ~for her~ = very beautiful, I think it'll be one of my favorites

Biggest dissappointment for me is "Together when..." I know I know, but I feel the song and PV were just thrown in there and weren't done well, untitled ~for her~ is a better ballad

I thought I was going to be impressed a little bit more, but regardless I'm still quite impressed, I still can't wait for the whole album! (don't) leave me alone and marionette are promising to me!

edit: ayu said she wants us to listen to the songs and feel it. I'm feeling it alright!! Its awesome! and depressing, scary and dark at the same time.

Oh man. so far i really like GUILTY, Marionette -prelude-, Marionette, and untitled. These are such great racks!!!

I was fearing a rushed sound but to me I think she actaully pulled it off quite nicely.

There's probably a reason. Don't just dismiss it as dumb / boring / not cool / lazy..

With Ayu, it seems that things like this are planned for some reason [well, I dunno about the three Bs in Secret..]~

Hey, those are some of my favorites on that album, especially HOPE or PAIN!

Everyone's tastes are different, though.

I like m(u) that was one of my favorite albums. On the other hand most o the new songs on secret (except for not yet, and kiss'o kill) were bland.
