I guess that when you listen to a singer a lot, you see the difference between their songs. My mom thinks every Ayu song is the same. My friends think all Morning Musume sound alike. Which is not true. When you listen to an artist a lot, you see the difference. I used to think all up-beat songs Ayu did like Boys&Girls/UNITE!/evolution/Naturally/AUDIENCE... sounded alike. But now that I've listened to them so so often, I don't find them alike at all.

I've been listening to Ayu since.. the end of 2002, and I'm starting to think that all her stuff sounds similar Her PVs don't really wow me anymore either. All her photoshoots are starting to look the same Maybe I'm losing it!!! D:

Well, he did decision, which was a standing concert-y PV.. but eh. It was still really good. The majority of Wataru's PVs have some sort of element that's stands out, whether it be JEWEL's jewels or like, Dearests slo-mo scenes and windmills..

and I dont like about being lazy in making an album... 14 songs, 4 of them are not even a full songs, 5 of them are old songs, 5 new songs which is so mediocre.... and there is only 7-8 clips.... I wish she make 14 songs with 14 real video clips

I honestly think ayu fans are a little spoiled. Most artists release 10-11 track albums at every release. ayu usually releases way too many tracks in her albums actually. She's kinda an exception. (I'd also like to point that I still have the opinion that ayu is one of the only artist who has the least filler tracks I know. Most artists I listen to, usually have their albums being strong only because of the single tracks). As for videos, it's very exaggerated to release a promotional video for every single song. It doesn't make sense and isn't profitable. No artist, as far as I know, does that.

^ I know, she is VERY productive, some artists release albums every 4 years, and then singles once in a while. And ayu has SO many PV's, it's insane. And live performances? That's so excessive. Tours every year, countdown live.. it's alot. That's something I'll never complain about, she always has new material out and there's always new stuff to watch.

You've got good points, I hardly feel when I listen to a whole ayu album that there is any filler track, it's like all of the tracks fits the place they are, some artists has such a mixed albums and have some filler tracks here and there, or a lot of them.

And yep, ayu sure love her work, she's just living in a strain to satisfy her spoiled fans she likes =P (well not most but a lot are anyway).

I find a lot of fans with unrealistic or exaggerated expectations of her, and they want ayu to do stuff that it's just not ayu (advice: look for artists who can satisfy you instead of complaining consitently on ayu), or her music doesn't suit them anymore so the keep complaining.

It's just ppl always get made at me for questioning their opinion so I stopped doing it xD! Well if you really must know then here's the reasons:

1) I love rock (I like Ayu's rock/pop songs the most out of any of her music)
2) I love the chorus...and the sound effects
3) The tune has a very depressed sound and I love sad/dark music
4) Her vocals are very nice
5) It reminds me of Silent Hill

To tell you the truth, Irdk why I like it so much. I can't explain it. When it comes right down to it...it's not that you're missing anything...it's just as Truehappiness said, "Different strokes for different folks".
Besides, GUILTY isn't the song everyone's going crazy for...it's Marionette.
Which is what I'm really questioning in my head cuz I don't think the song is that amazing...But who knows
I always seem to have a waay different opinion on stuff than other ppl seem to.
