Wow. Any respect I had for her just went out the door. If this were Ayu, I believe she would've put her foot down. This just shows that Kumi does whatever is necessary to sell records and is a record label slave. She can't think that her fans are stupid. After all this success, and she STILL has no control over her image? Give me a break.

Either do the sexy thing wholeheartedly, or change and do something else. Koda Kumi strikes me as a very cookie-cutter idol with no sense of self on her own, which sucks because she otherwise does have potential. Then again, I do have to ask myself how much potential she really does have, because if she can't sell records without taking her clothes off? ...well...that's pretty sad. Girlfriend needs to step it up, geez.

And she DID have surgery (well, so did Ayu and others, I believe)...I suppose a little of my respect for her came back, because it does take a lot to admit that.

And why does this thread have to be locked? Any doubt about the greatness of a favorite artist here and nothing else should be said? C'mon, guys.
