Oddly enough, I bet someone at Avex would have to speak English. That's not saying that why should try that or anything. XD But I definitely think it might be a good idea to call up Avex and tell them what we're doing and see if they'll even accept this first (I don't think they'd say we couldn't do it, but maybe that they don't allow those sort of things to be dropped off for their clients... :/).

And I definitely agree with whoever it was that said that it would be more convenient to send the letters to someone closer to them geographically. So it might be better then to write down on the first post where the people live so we can send it to them accordingly (I think you already mentioned this XD).

Unfortunately, my Japanese is only proficient and the people I know who are Japanese and from Japan are all studying in the States (and are currently back home in Japan so I couldn't call them), so they wouldn't be able to hell us either. Someone's gotta have some hook-ups in here someplace. :/ I know at least one person on AHS who's fluent, but there's gotta be more....

- Volunteers: We have a lot of people who want to do this, and this is great. Thankfully, we have TWO people working on this here at AHS. (And me and Draggi are working at other sites as well.) The two people working here can work together to print out the e-mails sent to the account. (I think it would be easier if everyone who would rather e-mail letters / pictures to e-mail it to the gmail account. That way, once all the e-mails are sent, you all can browse through them and take about half of them each.) Also, we need to figure out who our main leader will be, and where exactly we will be sending this to in Japan.

- As far as sending letters go, we have two options: e-mail and handwritten. It's preferred that you handwrite your letters and send them, but if you can't do that, then e-mailing is okay. Unfortunately, that takes a lot of time, paper, and ink.

- What to include in the letters: A nice message / letter to Ayu, your name, where you are from (city-wise), and maybe a picture of your Ayu collection. (Or, if you have ever made a costume based on something Ayu wore, maybe have a picture of you in that?) You can do both ideas, but don't send too many pictures (especially if we have to print them out).

- Also, if you handwrite the letter, it's suggested that you provide a sheet protector for your page. You don't have to, but it would be nice. =)

- Donations are suggested as well. This will not be cheap, sending this to Japan. (The scrapbook will most likely be big.) You don't have to give much, you don't even have to give anything. A couple of us have PayPal accounts, but if you can't donate through that, than hidden cash is accepted as well.

- Since this idea seems to be well-liked, we can make sections of what countries we are from. It hasn't been discussed in details yet, but it can be by size, in alphabetical order, whichever we choose.

I guess that's everything, then. If I missed anything, or if I got something wrong, don't hesitate to tell me. =)

EDIT: Also, I know some people have already started to send stuff, but we should also really focus on getting the other Ayu groups / sites / forums informed on this. It would be awesome to have 50-100 people included in the book, not just 20 or so. :-/
Seems like a good plan!
Okay, so this is our main plan?

I was thinking about making a clip for Ayu with the help of my friends. I want to make a fireshow for her with her music in the background. What do you think about that??? I made similar clip on my project.

I personally think that this should be an online thing. Like for example, you have a website of a database of all your scrapbook creations for Ayu, then somehow, I don't know how, you can send her the message and the website address, that means less ink, less paper, and a whole lot less time and money wasted. Because I don't even KNOW how you're going to send Ayu this, like are you going to go to Avex headquarters and try to hand it in to them? Because oddly enough, I don't think that's going to work

hmmm I don't know whether I should throw my hat in here or not, but if you can't get anyone in Japan to deliver it such as masa, I could give it a shot. I will be in Japan for the first week of April and will be seeing Ayu's tour at that time. I'll also be staying in Minato-ku(where I always stay so I'm familiar with the area, it's also where Ayu's fanclub address is located.) So, if you are not planning on mailing this, I could hand it off directly to the fanclub address. Or if worse comes to worse, give it to some staff at the concert.

I don't know if this is what you want to do or not, but I just figured I would offer.
