Small dogs like the one she has, don't usually have a very long life span. That's probably why you never heard of them dying in the past. In certain exceptions they might live a little longer, but we don't know in what conditions they live in. Do they travel with her everywhere? Do they have a 'babysitter'? Different reasons could be the cause as to why they are deceased.
