I honestly don't see the point of making a thread if your not allowed to post when the things are relevant to the artist in name.

And almost all the post are spaced out between with 3-10 minutes between each, with three 1 minutes, and one double post..
Isn't that considered normal on most forums?

Sorry if I sound rude, but I want to know exactly where the boundaries lye because I didn't read anything against that in the rules @.@

Being on topic doesn't make it spam. However the latest koda kumi threads have been spammy,, and it's undeniable. I know the last one wasn't at all that much spammy, but it got really spammy in the end. As cory mentioned, the last page on that thread is crowded with spam. Also, just because you mentioned the name koda kumi in as koda related thread doesn't necessarily mean that post isn't spam. If the post is empty like "Oh these kuu threads are boring without *insert name*", then it's spam.
The koda kumi threads are being targeted because it was obvious people were spamming there for several reason (i.e reaching 500 posts limits so new threads would be open until the 30th was reached to make a sexual connotation title). That's really immature.

I will totaly agree with you on that one, spammage for the title was immature, thats why I made the 29.5 so no one would get mad at me for not making it with the roman numerals.
But its stupid to delete an entire topic when a few post can be deleted and the members be warned.

Ok, so we have an enormous work of sorting and separating the spam, so people can rush and spam again and we will have to do all the cleaning once again? We're not babysitters. We usually do some cleaning on most threads, specially if it's a news thread that was contaminated by spam, so we can save it. But a regular chat thread that has several versions won't really be a huge miss since no real important debate was taking place, and if there were, it could still be continued in a new thread. Plus I'm sure that makes people to hate spam a lot more and will try to avoid it on later simillar threads.

I wanna say something about that:

What if the first sentences of your posts are fully on topic and not considered as spam but the last sentences (like when you do multiquote) are about: "OH THIS THREAD IS BORING WITHOUT *username*"

Is the whole post then considered as spam?

Usually not. However, if the "on topic" sentences are too devoided of content and the real focus of the post was actually the off-topic message, and, after that, a chain of posts with almost blank "on topic" sentences and too much focus on the non-off topic ones starts to take place, then that, at a certain point, could be considered spam. It's pretty hard to analyze that though, because it could be that the off topic sentences are nothing more than branches of sub-topics that at a certain point could be related to the original thread.

So, if the "it-makes-sense-on-topic" posts are somehow "connected" to the "it-doesn't-make-any-sense-on/off-topic" tops, it's spam

hmm...well, if thwe "on topic" stuff is really vague, and posted solely with the intention to get the off topic message through, then it could be considered spam. It's kinda like you putting some make up to make the off-topic stuff seem on topic.
