Of course not. Or we wouldn't be talking about her right now would we? But it's also a fact that certain people would only be mentioning it in the public eye because they may have something to gain from it. I'm not saying that was Alan's intention, but that the way the whole message is worded sounds weird and that it's a possibility.

Alan's a really good singer. I am a fan of Alan too. And Chinese traditional medicine has it's merits. I believe that Alan posted it in her blog as a response to her own fans' inquiries about Ayu who most probably are also Ayu's fans.

Well, once she revealed her status on TeamAyu, most members there didn't leak any info for other japanese fans who weren't part of the club. However, the info leaked to ayu chinese forums and quickly spreaded towards chinese fans, way before most japanese fans would get aware of it. I think that's probably what might have happened. I know people from TeamAyu usually don't leak much information from it, except for a few membwers there. That could be an explanation for what she mentioned there.
