i'm skeptical about the whole thing because there's always going to be rumors since he's a Johnny's member. there were rumors of him dating Aragaki Yui when they were doing "My Boss, My Hero," but that wasn't true since he was still with Ayu at that time.

but even so, life goes on. if they weren't meant to be, then fine. i'm sure they'll still be close friends, seeing as they've known each other for a very long time. & Ayu's friendly with his friends too (i.e. the KinKi Kids).

The Johnny's are like rumor magnets. If they're seen with any female, they're "dating".

On the other side, those who follow TOKIO have said that Nagase was really upset over the break up. Both Ayu & Nagase have said they have a good relationship still, so who's to say they aren't supporting each other in moving on.
