damn, 11 pages is what i miss from being at school all day?! i would have liked "life" to have a PV, so it'd be the a-side instead of "mirrorcle world" (i loved mirror, but i'm kinda tired of it a bit, lol. maybe it's full version will change my mind) but this single still sounds pretty good. can't wait.

I was hoping Ayu would release something "happier" for her 10th anniversary. I mean, "Mirrorcle World" is a dark rock song. I thought she would do something more for to celebrate it. =/

The amount Avex is letting them sell may have already sold out. (I'm assuming if it's sold out on CDJapan, it's sold out on Neowing, too? That may have something to do with CDJapan being sold out...) Watch it be un-sold out later today or tomorrow, though.

Mmm I wonder what other songs she will re-do. I hope A Song For XX isn't... or of it is, make it an actual single... I think that would be monumental considering the impact the song has and considering it IS her anniversary. Anyhow, A Song for XX must be on AT08 at least. (And no random kung-fu please)

I went to bed at like 1:30 and saw that I had an unread email but I was tired and thought it wasn't important so I didn't read it. YesAsia just sucks compared to CDJapan. Plus YesAsia isn't even based in Japan so it wouldn't get any of this stuff as quick as CDJapan would.

Some of you guys are overreacting.

First off:
GUILTY's sales weren't that low. If she was selling in the 300k/400k total range that'd still be good.. I mean, look at how many acts are hitting a million nowadays... like 3 at the most. o_o

And second:
4/8 and 4/9 is the best day to release this single as there is no competition that day/week. The week before there is L'arc en Ciel and after that there's a bunch of JE people releasing.

She will be getting an extra day on the Oricon charts, just like how GUILTY was released on 12/25 and got a few extra days.


I think that some of the general reaction for this single not being "big" enough for her 10th anniversary is very... dumb. Seeing as how she has so much going on in this month, I think that she's doing this and EVEN MORE for her 10th anniversary, which is saying a lot. She's been working to celebrate this anniversary since November of last year, which makes it for a total of 4+ months on this 10th anniversary [and more to come with the extensive ASIA TOUR 2008 that has an enormous Japanese leg and a to be announced Asian leg of the tour PLUS a-nation this year D:!!!]..

She's the busiest she's been since around 2002/2003. She's got so many releases coming out in such a short amount of time, it's crazy. To recap:
3/12: AT07
3/26: ayu-mi-x 6 GOLD and SILVER
4/8: Mirrorcle World
4/9: Remix analogs times 10

All in the span of less than a month. INSANE~

All four versions are up at HMV for pre-order...and none are sold out!! =D

And truehappiness, I don't think anyone's complaining about how low the sales will be...sales will obviously be big for this - there's four versions of the single, it will include new AND old songs, and it will be released EXACTLY on her 10th anniversary. (And like you said, there's no competition for at least the first week.) I'm pretty sure people are slightly upset that it's sold out at CDJapan.

Some of the songs that are most important to ayu don't have PVs. Like Memorial Address and ~untitled~ for her. Same goes for her album title songs.

GUILTY hit #2 because of the 2 week long New Year's Oricon week.

She was #1 in the first week if you were informed [by a small margin]~

And Kobukuro's incredible consistency led them to be no.1 for many weeks to come [and stay in the top 5 for weeks afterward]~

I don't blame Ayu for this, as I blame Kobukuro's insane fans. It's definitely NOT Ayu's fault for "selling so low" or "losing the #1". It seems that some of you don't know what happened in the first two weeks of January and just kinda fill in the story with "Oh, Ayu failed because she wasn't good enough" :|

GUILTY not hitting the #1 was bad predicting on avex's part. If GUILTY was released on 1/9 or something, it'd have been just fine. But they underestimated KOBUKURO's strength. :|
