Hmm, the usual Panasonic / music.jp tie-ups yet again.. I'm actually surprised they didn't give her any new/stronger tie-up's, especially with Koda Kumi on a hiatus of sorts.

I'm VERY excited for 'Depend on you'. However, I'm worried for 'YOU'. There's a lot of room for overdone vibrato, I hope she doesn't get too carried away.

..and I think 'Life' not having a PV is a very good sign for the song, actually. [just look at all the H songs - no PV's] Some songs are just better off without PV's.

I can't imagine her performing Mirrorcle World on TV though... I wonder if she might use the rerecordings or 'Life' instead? Overkill with the 4 versions, by the way.

See the -northern breeze- mix of YOU.

The vibrato is just fine there :p

The 4 versions thing is kinda baffling to me too. I wonder if each version will have special first press contents other than a cover..?

I don't blame Ayu for this, as I blame Kobukuro's insane fans. It's definitely NOT Ayu's fault for "selling so low" or "losing the #1". It seems that some of you don't know what happened in the first two weeks of January and just kinda fill in the story with "Oh, Ayu failed because she wasn't good enough" :|

GUILTY not hitting the #1 was bad predicting on avex's part. If GUILTY was released on 1/9 or something, it'd have been just fine. But they underestimated KOBUKURO's strength. :|

That's not what I was saying... ^^;; I'm saying, Guilty was released and had more time to chart, it hit number #2 when it counted, Mirrorcle World is releasing early(even by a day), which could help or hurt the single.

Either way, I'm looking forward to a good single, and the news of a Depend on you remake will brighten the day of someone who needs it~ ^^

GUILTY was released early, yes, but it hit #2 because of the variable of Kobukuro which I think NO ONE expected.

Mirrorcle World releasing a day early can only help it, unless there's some smash hit single that sells 100k++ 2nd/3rd week..

Or someone decides to release and hasn't announced it yet, is that possible? I don't know as much as I'd like about the music industry... ^^;;

I want one of those weird PVs for Mirrorcle World. Something that makes us look deep for a meaning, like alterna and Ladies Night. Those kinds of PVs are her best in my opinion~

Well, we already kinda know what the Mirrorcle World PV has in it because of French fan reports.

And for someone to announce a release less than a month before would be very strange.

People usually in direct competition with Ayu end up getting pushed back :p

It's funny. I'm probably looking forward to the making of MW, rather than the actual PV.

The French fans are probably all going to be in the making!

The actual PV sounds like it's going to mindless, though. Not that I mind, but the lyrics kinda suggest otherwise.

The only way GUILTY could've gone #1 was releasing 1 week later. If stores stuck to the 1/1 release, it would've made no difference since it would still be #2.

^ I agree, actually. A new arrangement of "poker face" seems a bit more appropriate...I mean, that was her first single, this is her first on her 10th year (exactly). Not that I'm not excited for the other songs, I'd like to see that one being re-arranged.

I'm happy that LIFE won't get a PV. Some of her strongest and most popular songs don't have a PV (see the A and H single). And a PV might ruin a good song.

Poker Face is appropriate, but I dunno, often a singer's debut song is not the strongest (exceptions aside) and I guess the whole Melody and arrangement of Poker face might not play well with the market (like IMO it doesn't have the same "timeless" feeling that YOU has or something).
