It's not like she hasn't done it in the past! Besides, she's pretty tame compared to many others out there so whatever. Her life, she's hitting that changing point in life time when suddenly you're some sexy goddess of some sort and then BOOM where has time gone.... O_O SHE'S GONNA BE 30 THIS YEAR! Wow...

There's a difference between being natural sexy and 'just for this time' sexy.. and guess where ayu fits in the best?

I mean, isn't a bit strange that all of the sudden.. you have 6 covers where her faces are 'lookie, me hawt and sexah' while have only an arm covering her boobs... and that in the PV she's touching her legs and her hips and is pulling sexy/fierce faces...... I'm not surprised that most people say they don't feel the song fits to the PV or that the music video fails to answer the vibe Mirrorcle World and that some people even feel unpleasant with some parts of what she's doing these days?

I used the term 'whoring herself up' because I feel as if this is just to promote her single by being sexy.. like Kumi does with a lot of her albums/singles/PVs

Well, I think the whole sexy thing this time is a throwback to the LOVEppears/appears era.

It seems like she's going backwards with album concepts..

GUILTY -> Duty's cover concept redone with D&G
Mirrorcle World -> LOVEppears nude concept with a hand instead of hair, and the use of butterflies, like in the LOVEppears booklet..

Some people like pretending sex doesn't exist. I call it the Disney syndrome.

If Ayu didn't try to be sexy once in a while, then I would think that something was wrong with her. It's human nature.

And, come on, people, she already did sexy even way before Mirrorcle World. LOVEppears, LOVEppears, LOVEppears.

I noticed the same thing with Guilty and Duty. Content-wise, you could also compare Guilty and Duty and see how the lyrics and compositions compare. I also don't think it's a coincidence that she had Kunio Tago compose two songs as well (Scar and Key ~eternal tie ver~ versus Together When and untitled ~for her~).

The Mirrorcle PV also reminds me of the appears PV.
