There's nothing inconsiderate about it. Maybe the original post didn't exactly have the proper words, but the meaning was most likely this:

If ayu lost most of her popularity, would it be wise/interesting for her to make a group with Hikki?

People discuss whatever they feel about it, but there's no need to ridicularize the intention of the poster. If you hate Hikiki, or you think ayu will never be unpopular, or that a group with both would be a disaster, you can talk about that giving reasons.
