Her label seems to be really into milking her fans now with compilations after 10YB pushed into 100k-ish in sales.
double's recent original album did not have much success. I believe the compilation album Double released as DJ Lilly had more success. it was a nonstop mix of RnB tracks, both japanese and western with a few of her own songs in there too.
I do like Double's music, but I'm not super into her. I think her remixes are awesome, i really like her remix albums. I don't see US debut as a possibility for Double tho. Her style of music would seem dated in comparison in the US, I do like 90s type of RnB but it won't just sell as a new music.
but as far as j-RnB goes, I think no one at the moment can top ARIA. she's a great vocalist and her music sounds fresh and update, no one in the j-rnb scene can match the quality of her production music- and image-wise.
ARIA is also the only one who has potential to crossover to the US if she can speak english ...
