Your Thoughts on "Life"

So we've now got the preview. What are your thoughts?

I personally love it, it feels like ages ago since she did that type of song. It sounds kind of happy and sad at the same time.

I love it as well, and I'm excited for the full version. It's just so nostalgic and pretty-sounding. This single is really well-rounded.

It's kinda funny, cause I bet some people are going to say "It's too JPop-ish!" when people have been complaining for months that her music has been to rock-ish.

But I can't tell much about it cuz I wanna hear the full version first before I can judge it properly.

"Life" is so wonderful that it makes me so sad to see that song as a b-side instead of an a-side. It's seriously MUCH MUCH MUCH better than whatever "Mirrorcle World" is. I bet Ayu would totally rock the stage while singing "Life" unlike "Mirrorcle World". It has a really nice melody and flow to it. Great instruments of course. And I'm a huge mellow rock fan and "Life" is one. Ayu sounds fantastic in it also.

I absolutely cannot wait to hear the full version. I can feel that I'm going to love it. I had the same feeling for "fated"!

"Mirrorcle World" isn't a-side material enough to be the a-side of not only a single but the a-side of her 10th anniversary single! It's insane! "Mirror" was a great track, but it's just not good as a full song.

It's really happy sounding. I was excepting a sad ballad, but I really like this.

I think that we'll be seeing Life on the album in place of Mirrorcle World [due to the strange nature of Mirrorcle]... and with a PV!

I really like it.

Oh, and we'll probably see it at AT08 too with Mirrorcle. XD

So far, I love it. I'm so addicted to the chorus.

I hope the full version doesn't disappoint! It is a Yukumi composition, and he's been kinda whack lately, so I'm not getting my hopes up. But I don't know, I have a really good feeling about this song. The melody and the way she's singing gives off a very nostalgic vibe, yet at the same time it sound very fresh and kinda unlike Ayu.

I need to hear the full song, but it sounded nice. I expected it to sound the way it did strangely enough. It's a little different than the recent material Ayu's been releasing. It kind of reminds of me of the stuff on MY STORY.

Wow, the preview sounds AMAZING!! Like, it's sounds calm and nice, not rock-y like she's been doing lately (not that I mind, though ^^). I can't wait to hear the full version!! =D

It reminds me of MY STORY, too. It sounds like a mixture of walking proud, It was, fated, and something else to me. I think I'm going to like it.

It's been a long time since Ayu did a ballad that didn't seem "overdone" IMO.

I mean, I'm happy there's no heavy rock in it, cuz I want pop! I totally agree with Leena as well

I loved fated and was happy to get another one, but I'm so happy it isn;t fated but smth another!
its very nostalgic indeed ~ smth like RAINBOW...maybe not, I dunno why I think of RAINBOW XD

I can feel that I will love it a lot more than Mirrorcle...I like it more-more-more...on the other hand I understand why it wasn't selected as a a-side - avex thought it's too calm & relaxing to rock the socks..but I would prefer it to be a-side...truly

It's pretty nice. The composition was pretty predictable but it definitely didn't sound out of place. Can't wait for the full version. =)

I'm kinda mixed. It doesn't sound very.. 'interesting'.. but she hasn't done something like this for a long time.. Someone said that the last song that had this happy and sad laid-back pop song was 'winding road' and I agree, though I like this song more. It's a song I need to hear fully before I can really say something. Which is a first, because normally.. like I felt with glitter and fated, I could already tell I wouldn't like it because the chorus is very important while with talkin' 2 myself I fell in love with a recording of a mobile phone

So.. I guess it's quite original compared the last 3 years
