Country Region

I have a Yamakawa DVD 218 player and was messing around with the setup options. I went to preference setup, country region, and selected Japan, but also has other countries listed. I can always change it back to default. Now will it be able to play ayu dvds?!

I dont know if that would change the region of the player, if you bought it in america.. Why don't you just put an ayu dvd in it and see what happens?

I dunno~ I don't think my DVD player has that option to change the region, but I found a code in the internet that was supposed to make your DVD player region-free... and I think it worked, 'cause it plays region-2 dvds just fine now ^__^
If your dvd has that option, and it said the region was changed to Japan, I guess it probably works~ but if it doesn't, I can give you the code, it might work with you too
