my name's WOMEN's chandelier
I know its a dumb and insignificant question.
But i would like to ask wassup with the chandelier and the song my name's WOMEN? In both AT2005 and AT2008, instead of having the screen showing ayu performing, a large chandelier was showed. I really dont get it. Would appreciate if you guys provide ur inputs about this. thanks!! |

It's just a backdrop?
I'd say that Ayu tried to give us the "feeling" of a sort of large, grand room for the entire thing.. But asking about this is like asking about why she used a desert setting for INSPIRE, or a Victorian/Classical-esque era-ish setting for HAPPY ENDING.. it's just hard to explain unless she tells us. Though I think that she might've been projecting to us... like.. the inner-workings of royalty [in terms of thoughts and such.. you know, HAPPY ENDING shows you the confused royal woman, and then INSPIRE sort of shows her in action.. and then there's like progression to like.. loss or w/e.] So, to sum it all up, I don't think there's any meaning to it at all. It's just a background that Ayu wanted to show during my name's WOMEN.

I'd say it fits the PV of the song, with the chandeliers in the club. Just like the INSPIRE backdrop fits the INSPIRE PV where she's in the desert.
