After reading this thread I went to the nearest CD rental shop to see if that Hoobastank album is available here in Japan. Not only is it available, but the booklet clearly labels the music as being written by two of the band members. Tasuku didn't write this song unless "Tasuku" is a pseudonym for a member of Hoobastank. I'm pretty shocked that it isn't a big scandal here since both albums are readily available, but that must just mean that Japan doesn't care very much.
