I think the first in like 30 years to stay 6 consecutive weeks, but Utada's First Love topped the chart for 6 non-consecutive weeks

Namie is definitely not the first female artist to top the chart for 6 weeks. Utada Hikaru's mom topped the chart for 20 consecutive weeks with one album.

As DDD said Hikki's mom spent 20 weeks at number 1 lol..however Namie will be the first solo artist to do this with a CD release ;3
