I really hope she's performing after seeing that clip. I know they said she wouldn't be, but that clip certainly makes me think they're just keeping it from us. I will be insanely happy if she does any kind of performance on the VMA's this year. Now I'll just be incredibly disappointed if she doesn't.

Can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm liking that song playing in the background, even if it turns out to be one of Britney's future songs.

I've taken notice of the fact that Britney likes to ALWAYS have a CROWD of dancers performing with her onstage all of the time.

EDIT: It's been confirmed that Brittany will help open the VMA'S but she won't be performing.

Guys, the news saying "she is opening the VMAs but NOT PERFORMING," came first before this clip of her rehearsal was leaked... It's because Brit's team and MTV were actually "cooking up" something for us to be surprised on the day of the VMAs... So now that the video has leaked (which I believe is part of their plan), it only made fans and non-fans alike get more excited about this COMEBACK... Btw, I believe she is already confirmed as a PERFORMER coz MTV Denmark's website has just added her on the performers' list... Now all we can do is wait for the VMAs if she really is performing or not... But she is DEFINITELY attending...

PS: The song playing in the background is going to be her new single called "UNDERGROUND"

Oh, hell yes! I'm definitely gonna be watching VMA tommorrow. I thought it was going to be another whack ass VMAs again (just like last year and the year before that and year before that) but MTV are prolly relying on Britney to give them a good as ratings again. I hope they at least got a bigger stage for her and performers. I mean damn. They performed at the Palms Hotel. Srsly, that is so lame. =/

As for her single, I definitely can't wait until the video is released. Ugh, i just wanna she Britney dance dammit. Please give us some "I'm a slave 4 u" srsly. I hope TRL will air her full pv next week.

^ I agree. The VMAS last year were horrible, true that they have been getting worse but last year was just BAD.

On the official website Britney has her own section called 'Britney's Best VMA Moments'. Plus they used her for the promo...MTV is treating her just a little too good. I'm still keeping the possibility in my head that she might perform..or she will just win like all of the awards she is nominated for

^I luv how they are treating Britney. They are treating her like how they treated her when she first started out. They know that she is the MTV/VMA Queen and she's prolly the only one who can make the VMA's interesting/fun to watch. I hope that if.when she performs, that she will FINALLY win a damn moonman. They have cheated her outta the moonman so many times. I luffed Hey Ya by Outkast bit how da hell did it beat Toxic? DDDD: Srsly! Toxic was the biggest hit of 04. How did she lost her moonman when she's the PV queen of America? Just how?! XD

She may HAVE been the PV Queen, but have you seen her crappy Music Videos lately? Heck, one didn't even feature her in it. It was fully animated.

I see Britney Spears as having been what Beyonce is now as far as popularity and stage presence goes. (Not Singing Abilities). So if she would regain all of that status back, I can see her being to the VMA'S what Beyonce is to the BET Awards.

^OMG! Ikr! Rihanna just doesn't have it when it comes to performing. Her 2007 WMA performance was so aweful. I was like so one needs to push off the stage. Her performance at the vma's last year was a snorefest too. Girl is definitely a video type of artist. =/


And Yea, Cori, her Blackout pvs were complete ****. =/ I really did down her PV queen status. I was just hoping that her next video will be something like IAS4U or Toxic.

I think has a nice nice. It may not be strong but it's certainly is sweet and soft-like. When people talk about her lip-syncing, I don't give a crap because her stage persences is great. She's never been expected to sing great or anything but the songs she performs are always catchy. I just hope she dominates the VMAs tommorrow and regain her status are a performer.

She will... I do believe that is the reason MTV got her for the VMA promos... I remember MTV admitting that Britney is the VMA QUEEN and that it isn't complete without her... And it's their 25th VMAs, so they have to have her...

A little update, accdg to MSN, Britney's rehearsal video has already been viewed MORE THAN 1 MILLION TIMES in just 24 hours...

PS: About the PVs for Blackout, c'mon, she's going thru ALOT at the time... Btw, it's Britney, not Britany or Brittany...

Well they did say she'd be HELPING OPEN the VMA's, not PERFORMING. So no one can be sure what that really means.
