Why is she leaving Sony? Even though she wasn't getting promotion she was selling pretty alright compared to some people with promotion.

She could just be going to a sub-label like Gr8! or SPICE. The only other labels I can think of are avex, Toshiba, Warner, and Victor.
avex: more and better promotion, loses anime tie-ins
Toshiba: some promotion, MAJOR tie-ins (if possible)
Warner: promotion with some tie-ins
Victor: almost none and I just hope she avoids this label.

I heard that Nami is moving to a new sub label of Sony or something like that like Rythm Zone or Cutting Edge of Avex

Wait, so is Universal-J an actual label or a sub-label? How does it compare with the giants (avex, EMI, etc.)?

(Victor is Leah Dizon's label, right?)

yeah I read it at namitamaki73.net it said "according to JP Bloggers during a MC at the recent live of Girls Entertainment vol.1 where Nami performed she made a annocement about a transfer to a new record label from Sony Music Japan"
